Story
Meet Rocket! Rocket came in as a stray and we believe he is approximately 2-3 years old. Rocket, true to his breed will be your loyal shadow. He is timid at first but warms up quickly. Rocket is looking for a job to do as he is herding our volunteers in the kennels already. Rocket would do best with older kids. Come meet Rocket and give him a chance to warm up to you!   All dogs are vaccinated, microchipped and spayed or neutered (if they are old enough) before they leave the shelter. If the dog is not old enough, you will be given a voucher for Animal Medical Center in Emmett to cover the cost of the spay or neuter. Please fill out an application if you are interested in this dog or call us today for more information.         Because we are an all-volunteer organization, please call ahead to schedule a time for a Meet & Greet so we can ensure a dog handler is available to show you the dog or dogs you are interested in.         Pet Adoption League  1526 N. Story
HI - I'M TARZAN, and I'm a sweet and shy 1-year-old Australian Cattle Dog in need of a foster or forever home. I was rescued from an overcrowded California shelter, where I became urgent because I was so scared and shy. While there, I had kennel mates, and I've done well with other dogs. I'm still shy, but am a work in progress. I'm starting to come out of my shell, and I can be petted now. I need a quiet home with a patient person or people who can give me a sense of security and the love and affection I so deserve. I'm very young and have my whole life ahead of me. I'm currently in California, but can be transported to you in Idaho. Please email for an application.

Story
Looking for a blend of "zoomie" energy and "couch potato" cuddles? Meet Cali, a 10-month-old pup who is ready to find her forever family! At 45 lbs, she’s the perfect medium-sized companion for adventures and relaxation alike. Why You’ll Love Her: • The Ultimate Playmate: Cali is a fun-loving girl who lives for toys and a good game of tag. She absolutely loves other dogs and would be thrilled to have a canine sibling to show her the ropes (though she’s happy to be your "one and only" too!). • Zoomie Champion: If you have a secure fenced yard, you’ll get a front-row seat to her legendary zoomies. She loves to stretch her legs and enjoy the fresh air. • A Gentle Soul: While she’s a little shy when meeting new people, it doesn’t take long for her to realize you’re a friend. Once she warms up, she’s all about the pets and will happily snuggle up next to you. • Feline Friendly: Cali is a polite girl who gets along well with cats, making her a great fit for multi-pet households. The "Nitty-Gritty": • Potty Training: She is so close to being fully house-trained! With a consistent routine, she’ll be a pro in no time. • Crate Training: Cali is crate trained. While it’s not her favorite place to hang out (she’d much rather be where the action is), she handles it like a champ. Cali’s Ideal Home: Cali is looking for a patient family who understands that the best things in life take a few minutes to warm up. A home with a fenced yard is a high priority so she can play safely. If you have another dog for her to wrestle with, that’s a huge bonus!

Story
This goofy, happy boy is ready for some adventure and some snuggles! He loves everyone including kids, dogs, and cats (though he might chase them if they run!). He's pretty high energy but is great on leash, has good manners, and could easily be off-leash trained. He would do best in an active home, especially if he has a dog buddy to play with. In the evenings, he loves to snuggle on the couch with his family. Austin is a great mix of playful and sweet and would make a great companion to take on adventures!

She does wonderfully with children and is friendly with other dogs. True to her Blue Heeler nature, Queenie is smart, attentive, and thrives on being close to her people.
