Story
🌟Meet Georgie! 🌟 Now being fostered in Pittsburg PA! Joey is an energetic and bouncy 9month old Blue Heeler and Aussie mix. He loves walks and hiking, chasing, digging, chewing, obedience training, and watching TV. He loves to learn, and is food motivated. Joey is fully house broken and crate trained, and he knows most basic commands - “come, sit, stay, drop it, leave it, up, down, gentle, look, and crate”. He is good on a leash and well tempered on walks, not reactive towards people or dogs passing by. So far he has proven great with most all other dogs, and loves to play with older kids (but he was too much for the little ones under 6yrs old). And he did well when meeting goats and horses, although does not have experience with them yet. Joey has never met a cat, as far as I know, and would probably like to chase it. He loves to play chase and would thrive in a home with breed experience and a way to channel his fun energy! Ready for lots of love and adventures? Georgie is waiting for his forever home! 🐾 Don't miss out on this amazing boy! Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Follow our rescue journey through the links below! https://www.threelittlepittiesrescue.org/ https://www.facebook.com/threelittlepittiesrescue https://www.instagram.com/threelittlepittiesrescue *Due to the rising cost of fuel and transportation expenses, there will be an additional $62 surcharge for transport. Story
– short for dashing is the most handsome gentleman you will ever meet. He has a natural tail and is possibly mixed with border collie or German Shepherd. He's a larger Australian Cattle Dog looking boy. He could also be part lab. Hard to say for sure. A DNA test sure would be fine! He's 8-9 years old and was dropped off at a high kill overcrowded shelter in southern Utah by adult children of his elderly owner. Once he passed away. They decided they didn't want his "old dog". Rude! Dash A very healthy boy. Super obedient. Well house broke. Gets along great with other dogs as long as they don't jump all over him and lick his face. Loves all people that he's met. He could be fine with well supervised kind, considerate older children, but I wouldn't put him in a house with youngsters that run and scream and fuss because cattle dogs do like to nip and herd things that run and squeal!

Story
I'm a 5-year-old Blue Heeler/Australian Shepherd mix, & I came to the shelter with my brother, Stubby. I might be partially blind & partially deaf, but my heart is all the way open for love! I'm the more outgoing one of the two of us, & I can't wait to share my joyful spirit with you. I'm cuddly, playful, & full of energy! I love going on walks, chewing on bones, & having my belly rubbed. After all the fun, I'm just as happy to curl up next to my favorite person for a cozy nap. I especially enjoy playing with kids, but I'd do best in a home with older kids who won't try to playfully take my food-let's just say I'm not a fan of that! I get along well with dogs my size, but I'm not a fan of cats. And just a little heads-up: vacuums really aren't my thing! I'd love a home with a large yard & a high fence because I enjoy running around & having a blast. If you're looking for a loving and energetic companion who's ready to share snuggles and adventures, I'd love to meet you!

Story
I'm Stubby, a 4-year-old Blue Heeler/Australian Shepherd mix, & while I'm blind & deaf, that doesn't stop me from living life to the fullest! My former owner says I'm a very loyal pup who loves balls & toys. I'm a cuddly, playful, & affectionate guy with a whole lot of energy! I love going for walks & have a blast playing with kids. My jumpy nature means I should be in a home with kids aged 8+, but I promise all my enthusiasm comes from a place of love! I get along great with other dogs, but I haven't met any cats yet, so I'm not sure how I'd feel about them. I'd definitely benefit from some training to help me learn the ropes & become the best companion I can be. If you're looking for a loving, active buddy who's ready to share adventures & snuggles, I can't wait to meet you! Although I may be different, I deserve a chance for love & a lifetime of happiness.
