Hi, Name is Chip! I'm the type of dog that is gonna take time to get to know. I'm mostly scared and confused in being here. I'm not happy in my kennel so I do bark at you. You have to bribe me with hotdogs to get me to trust you. Once I get out on leash I'm fine but it still takes time for me to adjust. We don't know much about chip but to greet with other dogs is a must and to be tested around cats. I would say no to kids. Any additional information about me please ask the people in the office. To adopt one of our animals, please visit our shelter, open Tuesday-Friday from Noon-5pm and Saturday from Noon-4pm. You may also submit an application online from our website at http://www.HelpTheAnimalsINC.com/adopt.

Story
Bloom has been in a foster home since 12/19/25, where she’s been showing just how sweet, smart, and loving she truly is. She is a gentle girl who is still building confidence and learning that the world can be a safe place. New noises like appliances, TVs, phones, and passing cars can make her nervous, but with patience and routine she has already started to relax and settle in.Bloom is making great progress with house training and now alerts her foster when she needs to go outside. She is very food motivated and eager to please, which makes training and redirection easy. She does well crated when left alone and settles quietly. She has a playful, goofy side and loves her squeaky ball, chasing it and bringing it back, tossing toys in the air, and even chasing her adorable little nub tail. Bloom also loves affection — she enjoys cuddling on the couch and prefers to sleep touching her person at night.Bloom may be reactive to other dogs and would do best in a home that can provide structure, management, and continued training. Bloom is a loving, loyal girl looking for a calm, patient home where she can continue to blossom.

Story
Tavi came to us after the sudden passing of a family member. She’s a very sweet, loving, and energetic dog that wants nothing more than to be by your side. She’s extremely smart and eager to please. She’s great with cats, kids, and small dogs. She hasn’t had much exposure to larger breed dogs, so she tends to be more hesitant around them. Unfortunately we just don’t have the time to give her the attention and care she deserves. She’d make a great companion in any active family household. She’s good in car rides and loves to adventure and explore.
