Story
River was abandoned in the national forest after we had a major ice/snow storm - myself along with animal control went out to try to get him and he was so terrified - after several hours I was able to gain his trust and he jumped into my car. River is a typical heeler - super super smart, loyal but the typical heeler attitude. This boy knows many commands, sit, stay, lay down, roll over, wait - he will not even eat until you tell him he can. His most favorite thing in the whole world to do is to play ball and he will play for hours and hours. He will need an adopter that has had "heeler" experience as they honestly are a breed of their own. But if you have experience with them - you also know how amazing they are. He would make an excellent hiking partner. Absolutely NO cats - and while he does well with dogs his size that are submissive - he would not mind being the only dog and this dog is going to be loyal to you without a doubt. He is estimated to be 4 years old and weighs 70 pounds. He is neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, current on heartworm prevention, microchipped and is a very well trained dog. If River seems like the perfect dog for you, please go to our website www.boxerbuttsandothermutts.org and fill out one of our adoption applications - that is the first step in our process. We also require references and a home visit. His adoption fee is $250.00

Story
This animal is NOT available through Brother Wolf Animal Rescue. This is a courtesy listing only, so you will need to contact the current owner for more information or to adopt. PLEASE CONTACT THE OWNER: text: (314) 971-8482 Bacon is a 3 1/2 or so month old puppy who was found on the side of the road along with five siblings at about 4 weeks old. They were raised, socialized, and made healthy, and now that he's neutered, he's ready for his new home! He's a goofy cattle dog mix and loves to give kisses once he gets to know you. He spends most of his life being goofy and confused and was raised among other dogs and cats, although admittedly I'm not quite sure if he ever noticed the cats existed. He's a sweet boy, a huge cuddle bug, and can definitely add some adventure and love to any household!

Story
Hello there, future family! I'm Phillip, a spirited and athletic male Cattle Dog with a zest for life and a love for adventure. I'm 2 and a half years old and weigh a fit 42 lbs. Let me tell you a bit about myself and why I might be the perfect addition to your home! I'm a smart, people-pleasing pup who loves to stay active and work hard. My agile and determined nature makes me great at tasks that require focus and energy. I'm confident and housetrained, and I get along well with other dogs, making me a wonderful companion. I'd thrive in a home with plenty of room to run, especially if there's a farm with livestock where I can put my skills to good use. I'd also be an excellent partner for agility training and acrobatics-I love a good challenge and excel at activities that keep me moving and thinking. Here's some fantastic news: adult dog adoptions are free for the entire month of May! That means you can take me home without any adoption fees. Before we meet, make sure to submit your adoption application online. This helps my friends at the shelter make sure everything goes smoothly when we finally get to meet. One more thing: all of our animals, including me, come home spayed/neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, and microchipped. So, you can be confident that I'm ready to join your family happy and healthy. Let's be BFFs! Filling out an application is super duper easy, and it puts you at no obligation to adopt if we aren't the perfect match. You can use this quick and easy link to meet me soon: https://foothillshumanesociety.org/adopt/adoption-application/ Can't wait to meet you! Love and high-fives, Phillip
