WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Sarah - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Sarah from the Hebrew origins means 'Princess'. What a dream come true, being YOUR princess!! I could totally get on board being treated like a princess, you know, like being spoiled rotten with lots of belly rubs and ear and under the chin scratches and whoa if you threw in some treats that'd just be the bomb...a life of a princess!! I am a total sweetheart of around 8 years, that was pulled from a local shelter where I was on 'the list'. I was shutting down being in a cold loud kennel but since being in my foster home, I've opened up and am starting to blossom. I do wonderfully with the other pups here, even occasionally trying to play. I'm also enjoying playing with stuffie toys. I even like trying to get the resident cat to play but mostly just let her be. I haven't been around any kiddos yet but with my sweetness should do good with dog savvy ones. Most of the time I'm quite content to take a snooze while you're doing your thing. I am mostly house broken holding it for about 5 to 6 hrs until I need to go out to potty. I am getting good at using the doggie door to come inside and am just starting to realize I can use it to go out too! I like going for our walks around the property but I'm more of a meanderer then a cruiser. I'm at that stage in my life where I like to stop and smell the flowers instead of bulldozing right over them! Coming in at around 43lbs I'm not too small that I get under your feet but I'm not too big that I take up the whole... everything. I would make a great companion type pup for someone retired or that works from home. I would even make a great first time dog parent pup. I will be good in the kennel but I definitely don't care to use one and I'm very good about not getting into things I shouldn't. Are you looking for that calm mellow gal that will be happy just to be in the same room? Are you looking for that someone to share in your daily life going on's from the mundane to the exciting? That constant, your princess, in your life that will never turn down belly rubs or treats? Oh wait, yes...that'd be ME!!!

Story
In a world of fur and joy, there's a Heeler named Brownie, oh so coy, With fur as red as autumn leaves, he's the cleverest of canine thieves. At two, he's full of boundless glee, a furry friend for you and me. Smart as a whip, this Heeler boy, his heart's a treasure, a boundless joy. In tricks and flips, he finds delight, learning with all his canine might. Two years old, his spirit free, a loyal friend, he longs to be. Attuned to you, his person dear, his love's a bond that's crystal clear. Bestest friend, he aims to be, beside you through eternity. Fetch and roll, and sit and stay, he'll dance and prance, bright as the day. With every bark, a tale he'll weave, of loyalty that won't deceive. He dreams of walks and treats galore, his heart, your love, forevermore. Brownie, the Heeler, red and bright, a canine star, a pure delight. In fields of green and skies so blue, he'll be the bestest friend to you. Brownie has the desire to be with his person and would make a great and loving support dog or full time companion. He is focused on his people (and the belly rubs they give!!!) Story
Are you in search of a one-of-a-kind serial kisser? Well, look no further, because I, Mandy, am the dog you've been waiting for! I come with a mix of awesomeness and a charming personality that's sure to steal your heart. I can be delightfully laid-back, enjoying those calm moments, or I can transform into a bouncing ball of joy when the mood strikes. Walks and jogs? Count me in, especially if you're by my side. But here's the thing-I love playing with other dogs so much that I often choose their company over toys. Let's talk sunbathing. If your couch has that perfect spot for catching rays, you can bet I'll be there, soaking it all in. I'm a big fan of lounging, whether it's under tables, during dinner time, while you're working at your desk, or even when you're cuddled up in bed. I'm all about being close to my people, and if you choose to adopt me, I'll be all about you! I'm a sociable girl, getting along well with other dogs and kids (especially with submissive/non-dominant dogs). My crate training and potty training with a doggy door are top-notch. I'm a pro at commands like going to my crate and sitting patiently. Now, about my diet-here's the deal: I have EPI (Exocrine Pancreatic Insufficiency), which means my pancreas doesn't produce the enzymes I need to digest food properly. Thanks to some attentive rescuers and veterinary care, we've got it all figured out. I'll need a specific diet and a pancreatic enzyme replacement supplement to keep me feeling great. Think of it as a special appetizer and entree at every meal. EPI won't slow me down, and I'm ready to trade serial kisses for a loving forever home day in and day out. So, how about it? Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)

Mac is a sweet boy who knows what he wants! He does love to chase and play with animals smaller than him. Due to this we suggest that he does not go home to a family that has cats or things like chickens. Squirrels watch out! This little guy can move! Mac is a ham, you can't see it in his pictures but he LOVES attention :) He is good with other dogs and happy to be a friend or he could be an only dog and BASK in the undivided attention :) He is a lazy boy and does enjoy snoozing and spending time on the couch napping but at the same time can have his moments where he is ready to go. He is housebroken and does just fine in a crate! If he sounds like the boy for you then don't wait!
