WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🌸🐾 Meet Patches — Nearly 9 Years of Pure, Gentle Devotion 🐾🌸 8 years old (Birthday 4/24/17) • ~30 lbs Patches is the kind of dog who doesn’t need to be the loudest in the room to be the most special. As she approaches her 9th birthday, she carries herself with the quiet confidence of a girl who knows exactly what she likes in life: A comfy couch. A warm lap (or at least a leg to lean on). And her person nearby. At around 30 pounds, Patches is the perfect “just right” size — big enough to feel substantial when she curls up beside you, small enough to fit perfectly tucked against your side. She is mostly a lap dog… or at least a “pressed firmly against your hip” dog. Personal space? Optional. Warmth and love? Required. She’s fully house trained, has lovely house manners, and gets along beautifully with dogs of all sizes. She’s been living in a home environment and fits right in like she’s always belonged there. Cats don’t bother her one bit — she’s far too dignified to get caught up in that drama. While she doesn’t spend her days bouncing around with toys or leading playgroups, that’s simply because Patches has mastered the art of peaceful companionship. She prefers quality cuddle time over chaos. She’s less “zoomies” and more “let’s sit together and solve the world’s problems.” Given her incredibly sweet and gentle nature, we believe she would do just fine with kind, respectful kiddos who understand that sometimes the best dogs are the calm, snuggly ones. Patches is at that beautiful stage of life where she’s past the puppy antics but still has so much love left to give. She gets excited when you come home, happily settles beside you on the couch, and simply wants to be near her person. No drama. No destruction. Just steady, loyal companionship. If you’re looking for: • A couch buddy • A lap warmer • A loyal shadow • A professional snuggler • A dog who believes every evening should end with cuddles Patches might just be your perfect match. She’s not asking for grand adventures or marathon hikes. She’s asking for love. For consistency. For a soft place to land for her golden years. And in return? She’ll give you the kind of quiet devotion that makes a house feel like home. 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org and give Patches the cozy, love-filled forever she so deserves 💛🐾

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🌾🐾 Meet Emma — The Ranch Girl with the Golden Heart 🐾🌾 3 Years Old • ~70 lbs • Australian Shepherd / Border Collie Mix Emma is the total package — brains, beauty, work ethic, and a heart as big as Texas. At 3 years old and about 70 pounds, this ranch-raised girl comes with real-life experience under her belt. She grew up helping round up goats and cattle, and she takes her responsibilities seriously. If something needs organizing, supervising, or gently guiding in the right direction… Emma is already on it. Due to no fault of her own, she was surrendered to a shelter in a small town and has waited far too long, she’s now finally getting her chance at the life she truly deserves — one filled with love, purpose, and a soft place to land at the end of the day. Emma is incredibly sweet and beautifully mannered. She walks nicely on a leash, is attentive to her people, and genuinely wants to do the right thing. And great news — she is house trained! She’s proven she can handle indoor living just fine, balancing her working-dog roots with polite house manners. Even better? She’s good with other dogs, kids and yes, even cats. Yep — this seasoned herding girl knows how to coexist respectfully with her feline roommates too. That’s what we call versatility. Emma would thrive on a ranch, acreage, or in an active home that enjoys outdoor time. She’d happily: • Help with chores • Monitor the yard • Supervise kids • Inspect deliveries But she’s not all business. Once the “workday” is done, she’s more than happy to relax nearby, soaking up affection and enjoying being part of the family. She bonds deeply and loves having her people close. Emma would love: • Daily exercise and mental stimulation • A job, even if it’s just “Official Backyard Supervisor” • A family who values a smart, loyal companion • A home where she’s included and appreciated She’s steady. Devoted. Capable. And ready to trade her waiting days for forever ones. If you’re looking for a loyal, intelligent, ranch-savvy best friend who can work hard, live politely indoors, respect the cats, and love you wholeheartedly — Emma is ready to clock in permanently. 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org and give this deserving girl the forever home she’s been waiting for 💛🐾

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org Meet Rosa – the Sweetest Soul with the Coolest Eyes in Texas! Rosa is a 2-year-old, 42-lb Australian Shepherd/Kelpie mix with a uniquely colored coat that makes her as beautiful outside as she is inside! She’s gentle, easygoing, and about as drama-free as they come. If dogs had a “Most Likely to Be Everyone’s Favorite” award, Rosa would win it paws down. This lovely girl gets along beautifully with just about everyone—people, dogs, kids, new situations—you name it. She’s calm, confident, and refreshingly mellow for an Aussie mix. Think less “whirling devilish herding machine” and more “professional couch companion with occasional zoomies.” And let’s talk about those eyes! Rosa has one stunning blue eye and one soulful brown eye. According to urban legend, that means she can see things in heaven and on earth at the same time. Pretty cool superpower, right? Basically, she’s part dog, part magical guardian angel. Rosa also comes fully loaded with excellent house manners: • Crate trained ✔ • Housebroken with a dog door ✔ • Walks beautifully on leash ✔ • Polite, well-behaved house guest ✔ • Expert at giving soft, grateful looks ✔ She enjoys relaxed strolls, cozy naps, and being near her people. She’s the kind of dog who fits seamlessly into your life like she’s always been there. Now, cats are a hard no, sorry cat lovers, she’s not a fan (she believes they are tiny, suspicious aliens), so a feline-free home is a must. But with dogs and humans? She’s an absolute dream. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, go-with-the-flow companion who will make every day brighter just by existing in it, Rosa is ready to be your girl. Apply today and let this two-toned-eyed sweetheart see straight into your heart 💙🤎🐾

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🐾 Meet Lariet — The Helping Hand with the Golden Heart 🐾🌾 3 years old • 40 lbs • Australian Shepherd Mix With a name like Lariet (another word for lasso), it’s only fitting that this boy is perfectly suited for being your right hand man — steady, dependable, and always ready to “rope in” whatever the day brings. At 3 years old and 40 pounds, Lariet is the kind of dog people hope for but rarely find. In fact, he’s probably one of the best dogs on the ranch right now — and that’s saying something. His personality is so much like an Australian Shepherd — loyal, level-headed, and deeply devoted to his person. He doesn’t bring chaos… he brings calm confidence. Lariet has become the trusted sidekick for daily ranch routines. He goes feeding with Tisha and Carolyn, happily loading up in the truck without hesitation. Sightseeing adventure? He’s ready. Feed run? He’s already waiting politely. He comes when called — every time — even off leash and from a distance. No hesitation. No drama. Just a solid, reliable “Yep, I’m on my way.” That kind of recall is pure gold. He comes with a respectful resume: • Walks beautifully off-leash • Returns immediately when called • Gets along great with other dogs • Has not bothered the horses • Loads up easily for rides • Minds exceptionally well • Is up to date on vet care Lariet isn’t mischievous. He isn’t pushy. He isn’t over-the-top. He’s steady. Smart. Respectful. What he truly wants is simple — to be with his person. He bonds deeply and thrives when he has someone to share life with, whether that’s chores around the property, weekend outings, or just being your quiet companion at the end of the day. He would make an incredible ranch dog, acreage companion, or active family dog who appreciates an intelligent, loyal partner. He enjoys having a purpose and being included, but he also settles nicely and carries himself with calm maturity. Lariet is that rare balance of capable working dog and devoted best friend. He’s confident without being demanding. Independent but deeply connected. Active yet level-headed. If you’re ready for a loyal, well-mannered, ranch-ready companion who will show up every single time you call — Lariet is ready to rope himself right into your heart. 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org and give this exceptional boy the forever home he truly deserves 💛🐾

Story
This handsome 5-year-old Australian Shepherd is the total package — smart, loyal, and full of love! Max knows basic commands, is fully housebroken, and enjoys toys, bones, and relaxing in his crate, though he prefers to be by your side. He walks well on a leash but may pull or react when he sees other dogs. He’s played nicely with dogs before, but slow introductions work best. Max loves being with his person, whether he’s fetching a ball, getting belly rubs, or resting his head in your lap. Like most Aussies, he’s alert, aware of his surroundings, and may try to herd small children or animals. He’ll thrive in a home familiar with herding breeds and able to guide his energy in a positive way. Max needs a yard to run in or someone who is reasonably active to help him stay happy and balanced through walks, play, and mental stimulation. Adoption is $300 which includes his neuter, age-appropriate vaccines, microchip and current monthly prevention. To fill out an application for this animal or a general application click HERE.All animals are up to date on age appropriate shots, microchipped and fixed.
