Story
🐾 Meet Coty! 🐾🌟 Coty's journey began when he was found abandoned in the middle of the road, scared and all alone. Thankfully, a kind soul brought him into their home for the night.🐶 Coty had a chance to mingle with dogs and cats, proving to be quite adaptable and friendly.🏠 Although he's nervous in the shelter, Coty blossoms in a home environment. He's more likely to open up and show his true colors there.🐕 We offer a week-long foster-to-adopt program to give you the opportunity to really get to know Coty and see if he's the perfect match for your family.🐾 Coty may be a chihuahua/heeler mix, but his exact breed remains a mystery. What we do know is that he's a petite-to-medium-sized pup, tipping the scales at only 22 lbs, and he's already fully grown.🎉 Estimated to be around 2 years old, Coty has a playful spirit that shines through. He's not afraid to show off his personality, often standing tall on his hind legs and dancing around like a little human when he sees you approaching his kennel.Give Coty a chance, and you'll discover a loyal companion ready to fill your life with love and laughter! 🐾❤️Loves walks, social once he trusts a person, snuggle bug. Took him a few days to trust, crate trained, house trained, fine with other dogs and cats. Will mark in the house. Loves looking out the window and his lamb chop toy. Rides well. He is a grazer when eating. 🐶🚶‍♂️🏡🐾Coty's adoption fee is $225, he is vaccinated, flea & tick treated, tested negative for Lyme & Heartworm, and will be scheduled for neuter and microchipped upon adoption. You can apply online for them at https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=sr2794&method=online_form_html&formid=21 OR stop into the shelter 12- 5 pm Tuesday through Friday or 11 am to 3 pm on Saturday to meet who is available at that time. Please arrive no later than 30 minutes before we close to ensure we have time to do the adoption. Take advantage of our foster-to-adopt program, where you can take any dog 4 months and older home for a week to make sure it is a good fit before committing to adoption.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Online Adoption Application › Meet Raymond: Everybody Loves Raymond! His handler says “Raymond is smart, very affectionate, loves to cuddle and sleep with you. He loves to play with other dogs but more than anything he wants to please his humans.” We cannot understand why this handsome fella is still here. He only wants affection and cuddles with his people. Currently, he is in our DASH Prison Training Program where he is excelling with basic commands like “sit, stay, down, wait, and leave it.” He is being set up for success in his new home.  He is housebroken and does well in his crate (although he would rather be next to his person). The only training he needs your help with is not pulling while walking. Like most young dogs, Raymond can be excitable when he sees new people. This can lead to him jumping and pulling. As quickly as he learns, it likely won’t take long to correct this behavior. He will just need continued guidance and practice with you as he acclimates to his new environment. Raymond loves to be outdoors to run and play, a yard or somewhere to run would be ideal. He has not been kid or cat-tested yet, so proper introductions will be necessary. Raymond loves all people and would be a great addition to any family! Heelers are typically known to be good family dogs. It is his turn! Raymond loves everyone…. And Everybody Loves Raymond. Come meet him today!! Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 19, 2024, 1:15 pm

Story
PLEASE SHARE,   meet George, he has been with us quite awhile and would really like a loving home of his own. His birthday is 6-30-12.  George loves to hike, swim and just lay around on the couch or cuddling in bed.  George is very well behaved and a great dog.  In George's old home he had always been an only dog, then the family has children. George is very afraid of small children.  George wants to find a loving home where there are no little children crawling around scaring him.  George is neutered, vaccinated, heartworm/lyme test negative, on Heartworm prevention, flea and tick prevention.   His old mother calls him the Lone Wolf.   If you have room in your heart and home for George or any of our other wonderful, beautiful babies please email Miracle House Animal Rescue with your name and telephone number to miraclehouserescue@gmail.com. We are located just east of Cincinnati, Ohio, out Rt 32 in Brown County. We work by appointment only, after you are approved. Thank you.

Story
Have you been thinking you might want a cattle dog? If so, visit with Lewis! Lewis NEEDS someone who WANTS and understands this breed and all that they require. He is a herding type dog who is at his happiest when he has a full-time job. These kinds of dogs have high prey drive, can be nippy (that is how they instinctually herd) and are very vocal; he is NOT recommended for homes with young children, small dogs, cats or other small animals who he may find fun to chase. Lewis is very smart and takes direction well and he needs that consistency and structure, otherwise he will find his own way to entertain himself. Lewis is a friendly guy who really enjoys treats and all the petting that you're willing to give him! If you want an active, super smart companion and can provide for his needs, Lewis just may be the dog you are looking for. If you are interested in meeting Lewis, please submit an adoption form found on our website: fairfieldcountydogs.com. Once received, we will contact you to arrange a visit. Story
She was born in Minot, ND in November of 2020 and purchased by a friend of mine while we were stationed there. She was given to my wife and I when she was 9 weeks old. She took to us quickly and was fairly easy to train. She got along with everyone she met. She will bark to let you know if anyone is near your home so she's excellent for protection. She loves to run freely in open areas and play with other dogs. Ideally I'd like her adopter to be someone with older kids and a space big enough for her to roam.
