🐾 Meet Coty! 🐾🌟 Coty's journey began when he was found abandoned in the middle of the road, scared and all alone. Thankfully, a kind soul brought him into their home for the night.🐶 Coty had a chance to mingle with dogs and cats, proving to be quite adaptable and friendly.🏠 Although he's nervous in the shelter, Coty blossoms in a home environment. He's more likely to open up and show his true colors there.🐕 We offer a week-long foster-to-adopt program to give you the opportunity to really get to know Coty and see if he's the perfect match for your family.🐾 Coty may be a chihuahua/heeler mix, but his exact breed remains a mystery. What we do know is that he's a petite-to-medium-sized pup, tipping the scales at only 22 lbs, and he's already fully grown.🎉 Estimated to be around 2 years old, Coty has a playful spirit that shines through. He's not afraid to show off his personality, often standing tall on his hind legs and dancing around like a little human when he sees you approaching his kennel.Give Coty a chance, and you'll discover a loyal companion ready to fill your life with love and laughter! 🐾❤️Loves walks, social once he trusts a person, snuggle bug. Took him a few days to trust, crate trained, house trained, fine with other dogs and cats. Will mark in the house. Loves looking out the window and his lamb chop toy. Rides well. He is a grazer when eating. 🐶🚶♂️🏡🐾Coty's adoption fee is $225, he is vaccinated, flea & tick treated, tested negative for Lyme & Heartworm, and will be scheduled for neuter and microchipped upon adoption. You can apply online for them at https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=sr2794&method=online_form_html&formid=21 OR stop into the shelter 12- 5 pm Tuesday through Friday or 11 am to 3 pm on Saturday to meet who is available at that time. Please arrive no later than 30 minutes before we close to ensure we have time to do the adoption. Take advantage of our foster-to-adopt program, where you can take any dog 4 months and older home for a week to make sure it is a good fit before committing to adoption.
