Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Let me introduce you to Annie ❤️   Annie is a beautiful Red Heeler with a heart to match. While she’s been raising her puppies, she’s also been showing everyone exactly who she is—and it’s something special.   Her foster mom says if she didn’t already have five dogs of her own, Annie would be staying. That alone tells you everything you need to know.   Annie has all the best traits of a cattle dog—she’s smart, attentive, loyal, and deeply connected to her people. She’s the kind of dog who wants to be part of your world, whether that’s helping you with daily life or simply being by your side.   And underneath that classic Heeler intelligence is a very sweet, gentle soul. She’s loving, steady, and has done an incredible job raising her puppies.   Annie is ready for a home of her own now—a place where she’s not just the mama, but someone’s heart dog.   If you know and love the spirit of a good cattle dog, Annie may be exactly who you’ve been waiting for.   Apply to adopt Annie and give this wonderful girl the life she deserves. Thank you for checking out our wonderful orphans. We try to post videos for each pet so you can really get to know them. If you would like to find out more please email or call Diane at... diane@ulpr.org or 870-577-3744.   Please email us at diane@ulpr.org and request an application. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 30, 2026, 9:21 pm

Story
Beau is a sensitive soul whose world has been turned upside down. Beau was very loved in his former home but he found himself at the animal shelter when one of his owners passed away and the other was unable to continue caring for him. At 5 years old, he is full of energy, playful and enjoys the company of those who share his zest for life. Beau is not immediately comfortable with new people but when introduced by someone he knows and trusts, he warms up quickly and is happy to hang with the new member of his circle. Beau has not lived with or been around young children and he has not lived with other dogs. We're still figuring out his feelings about other dogs. Beau would very much like to chase squirrels, rabbits and even birds so we won't be placing him in a home with cats or small animals. Beau is neutered and current on vaccinations.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. To apply to adopt this dog now, complete our adoption application   HERE To see our upcoming events where you can meet some of our dogs, please see   HERE Age: approx. 7 months (as of 4/29/26) Weight: approx. 22 pounds (as of 3/13/26) This dog has been spayed/neutered, is up to date on shots, on heartworm preventative and is microchipped. Meet Blondie, the Australian Cattle Dog! You’ll fall head over “heels” for this sweet Heeler girl. She is sure to make you laugh and steal your heart with her boundless energy, unique fur pattern and those darling eyes. She just might be the cutest and most loyal companion you’ll ever have on your daily adventures! Blondie is described as the perfect house guest! She is super affectionate and loves making new friends. She is currently working on her house training and showing progress every day. Blondie loves her toys, likes to snuggle and does very well in her crate. She’ll bark here and there, but not too much—just enough to keep things interesting and let you know what she’s thinking. She is safe and submissive with cats she has met outside, but we don't yet know how she is with cats indoors. Her perfect family will be ready for playtime and daily walks to help her get the exercise she needs. If there are kids in the home, we think it’s best that they’re older and able to handle her Heeler high energy! Blondie’s paw-fect life will be with an active family that is committed to consistent training, plenty of physical activity, and, of course, lots of couch cuddles at the end of a long day. An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see   HERE   for more information about this. Story
Luna is a 3 yr old certified emotional support Blue Heeler. She is trained, knows lots of tricks and loves a lot of attention, games and exercise. She loves fetch and tug of war, car rides, the dog park, going for runs and being anywhere you are. We recently moved combining my fiancé’s and my homes and our seven children and 3 dogs. Luna has had a stressful time with this change. She has been with us since 2 mos old and she seems to prefer a small, less busy (than 7 teenagers) household with more one on one attention. This has been a difficult and heartbreaking decision but we feel it is what is best for Luna. She deserves a happy dog life and we want her to find the perfect fit.

Loves to engage with other dogs and has the potential to be an agility dog.  This outgoing girl has been fully vetted: she's spayed, heartworm negative, on heartworm prevention, up-to-date on all vaccinations. She will do well in a very active home. Would be an excellent hiking partner or running, buddy. ##2709697##
