Story
My name is Blueberry Pie, but better known as Blue. I can’t wait to herd you into my life so I can love you until the cows come home! I’m a sweet, energetic little lady that absolutely loves everything and everyone. I’m about 33 pounds, 6 months old and am a Blue Heeler breed. I was surrendered to the rescue because my family didn’t have time for me. I’ve been spayed and have had my vaccinations so I hope I find a family that will love me soon. I love to play so if I could find a family with kids I would love that even more! I’m almost completely potty trained, and I like my kennel so my foster mom says I’m pretty perfect! Meet Georgia - A brave Momma ready for her happy ending Adoption Fee: $399 includes transport Adoption Application - Copy & Paste https://forms.gle/FmtRtYxQNnemdkdw9 Georgia is a beautiful Australian Cattle Dog mix with a heart as big as her journey has been tough. Dumped while pregnant, Georgia did her best to survive—and protect the life growing inside her. She found her way to an abandoned house and gave birth to her puppies in heartbreaking conditions, surrounded by filth and garbage. Through it all, she stayed strong and devoted to her babies. By her side the whole time was her little companion, Rick also left behind. A kind-hearted Good Samaritan began feeding Georgia and Rick and, after the puppies were born, reached out for help. That’s when we stepped in and brought them all to safety. Georgia has now weaned her puppies and is thriving in a loving foster home. She’s a little shy at first, but once she feels safe, she blossoms into a sweet, affectionate, and loyal companion. She gets along well with other dogs and would love a calm, patient family who can show her the love and kindness she’s always deserved. This brave mama has come so far—and now she’s ready for her forever home. If you’re looking for a loyal best friend with a gentle spirit and a courageous heart, Georgia is your girl. Please fill out an adoption application today and give Georgia the happy ending she’s been waiting for. Georgia is currently 2-3 years old and weighs about 50lbs. Story
Meet Bandit! Adoption Fee: $449 includes transport Adoption Application - Copy & Paste https://forms.gle/FmtRtYxQNnemdkdw9 Bandit is a fun-loving, energetic Australian Cattle Dog mix — we think he might be a Cowboy Corgi, thanks to his petite size, short little legs, and that classic cattle dog coloring and personality. Bandit was found wandering and brought to the local shelter, where his foster mom instantly fell in love. True to his breed, Bandit tends to bond closely with one person (his foster dad is his favorite!), but he’s friendly and affectionate with everyone he meets. He’s a social butterfly who loves greeting new people and dogs — he recently charmed the crowd at a local Oktoberfest! This clever boy is always up for learning something new. When he first visited the dock with his foster siblings, Bandit was nervous around water. But just a couple of weeks later, he was leaping off the ramp to fetch toys — life vest and all! He’d make an amazing little dock-diving partner. Fetch is one of his favorite games, and tennis balls are pure joy in his world. Bandit also loves getting out for walks and hikes. Exploring new places and sniffing everything along the way are some of his favorite ways to spend time with his people. Bandit currently lives with three other dogs, two cats, and gets along great with children. Like many herding breeds, he can be a bit mouthy and may try to herd smaller animals, so a home that understands cattle dog behavior would be ideal. Bandit would thrive in an active home where he can get plenty of walks, playtime, and mental stimulation. After a day of adventures, he’s also a world-class snuggler who loves curling up for cuddles at night. If you’re looking for a loyal, smart, and spunky companion, Bandit just might be your perfect match! Story
Meet Penelope! This 5-year-old Heeler/Terrier mix has one of the sweetest, most endearing faces you’ll ever see — complete with a perfectly imperfect little smile that could melt anyone’s heart. Her grin might be a bit crooked (her vet thinks she may have had an old injury), but it just adds to her charm and never slows her down. She’s happy, healthy, and full of love to give. Penelope is gentle, well behaved, snuggly, and affectionate — the kind of dog who leans into you for pets and makes you feel instantly at peace. She’s a little shy at first, but once she warms up, she’ll be your most loyal companion and biggest cuddle buddy. She’s very social and does wonderfully with kids, cats, and other dogs. She’s also a smart girl who’s both crate trained and house trained. Penelope is spayed, fully vaccinated, and ready to find her forever family — one that will appreciate her beautiful smile and even more beautiful heart.

Story
Lucky is a 6-year-old Heeler who was adopted as a young puppy in 2020 and is now looking for a new forever home due to changed family circumstances, through no fault of his own. He’s currently around 85 lbs and is doing well on a structured weight-loss journey, so his future family will need to be committed to continuing healthy routines, regular walks, and mindful portions.Lucky previously lived with cats and did well with them. While he was not socialized with other dogs early in life, he has made great progress in his foster home and is doing well with calm dogs when introductions are slow and thoughtful. He has no prior experience with children, so any potential match should keep that in mind.In his foster home, Lucky is thriving. He is housebroken, shows good manners, and is actively working on improving his obedience skills. He benefits from structure and consistency and continues to show how eager he is to learn. One of Lucky’s most endearing traits is his love of “conversation” with his people, especially when he believes his meal is late or that he urgently deserves a treat right now. His expressive personality, sweet nature, and growing confidence make him a truly special companion.Lucky is looking for a patient, committed home that will support his continued progress, celebrate his milestones, and give him the loving second chance he deserves.🍀 Good with calm dogs with slow introductions🍀 Lived successfully with cats🍀 Housebroken🍀 Leash Trained🍀 On a successful weight-loss journey🍀 Working on obedience skills🍀 Big personality, bigger heartIf you’re ready to invest in Lucky’s health, happiness, and future, he’s ready to be your loyal sidekick 💙Name: Lucky - LOCALBreed: Australian Cattle Dog/Blue HeelerSex: MaleAge: 6 years  (estimated)Weight: 85.0Spayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm: Negative on recent testingMicrochipped: YesBASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS:Good with Children: UnknownGood with Dogs: SelectiveGood with Cats: YesAdoption Fee: $450.00  (includes transport fee when applicable)Location of dog currently:    New England IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England.  Adoption donations cover pre-adoption vet costs (including vaccinations, spay/neuter when age appropriate, and heartworm testing/treatment when necessary), a microchip, and transportation to New England if necessary.Donations for our young, healthy puppies and dogs support their fellow canines of advanced age or suffering from injuries and abuse whose donations are reduced but whose veterinary costs are typically much higher.
