Story
Meet Chase!First and foremost, Chase is going to need someone with confidence because he has none. Just about five years old, Chase is going through a tough transition right now. He's confused and overwhelmed and he probably never had much confidence to begin with and this situation obviously isn't helping. Chase is a cattle dog/husky mix and he's definitely got the smarts from both breeds. He's a little over 40lbs and he's a very good boy just having a hard time adjusting to his whole world being flipped upside down. He's a big scaredy-cat until he's not, and then he'll lay belly up in your lap like the sensitive baby that he is. He's definitely a worrier but we think a lot of that anxiety comes from losing the person he got direction from and now it's left him with a whole lot of uncertainty. Chase did previously live with kids but right now, he's scared of everything. The wind blowing the wrong way scares him, tennis balls scare him, and the quick movements and loud noises of kids would definitely scare him. He's not super enthusiastic about other dogs but is very non-confrontational and prefers to just avoid unless he absolutely can't. He's scared of cats because of course he is.When Chase is comfortable with you, he's a little fluffy ball of sunshine. He'll be happy and super excited to see you and give you the happiest wiggles. He gives kisses and tail wags, he loves belly rubs, and loves being in someone's lap. He isn't terrible on a leash as far as pulling goes but does tend to get his leash wrapped around your legs and his own legs so he'll need some work. He's got the foundation and he's got the brains, he just needs someone to provide him with structure and much-needed confidence. Story
Hello, our names are Carson (m), Bridger (m), and Colton (m). We are the cutest, sweetest, funniest, silliest babies you have ever met. We are like watching a three ring circus never knowing who is going to do what. But, the more you laugh, the sillier we are. We are not bonded siblings. We live with other rescue pups. Here at my foster mom's place, there are adult dogs, cats & kittens, a horse and a rooster. She has a creek running through the property which is good because we LOVE water. Our lives began in a rural community. The man who owned my parents was not responsible. So, here we are. But the bad part is, he could not hardly pay for food, vetting our three boys, or fixing our parents. He could not even give us flea/ tick prevention or heartworm prevention for our parents. The kind lady who was notified about us took us into her rescue. Today we are fed, full vetting is being done, flea/ tick prevention along with heartworm prevention is being given. I would like to have a family who is active, likes the water, goes for walks, hiking, camping, snuggling and car rides. Please request an application from alittlelonger2home@gmail.com. When you receive the application please fill out completely to include your three references email addresses. The references cannot be related to you. See you soon, I am waiting. Bridger Male Not neutered Breed: Aussie/ Lab mix Age 15 weeks old (As of 05/19/2025) Weight: 18lbs Color: Yellow & white & Black Great with people, older children, dogs/ puppies, cats/ kittens, a horse, and a rooster Adoption donation $495

Story
Hello, my name is Rex. I came to the rescue with Olivia. No one knows where we came from or why we were on the rural stretch of highway. But what is known is that a very kind-hearted widow came home when we were spotted. Our rescuer stopped on the shoulder of the highway, opened the back hatch on her car, opened the crate door in her car, then told us to "load up". So, we did. We were blessed to have a rescue lady get us. We love her. Today, we are ready to be adopted. We are not a bonded pair and are happy to be your home's only dog. I, Rex, am just the happiest boy. I love life, have tons of energy, and adore people. I would be great for hiking, camping with a running buddy, or going to the beach for a day to play on the shoreline. I am a car rider, dog social, and love humans. I am ready to come home. I am ready for the next chapter of my life with YOU. Please request an application from alittlelonger2home@gmail.com. Story
Blue is currently in RI and looking for a 'furever' home! Meet Blue, a stunning black and tan girl with a cute bobbed tail and endless enthusiasm. This high energy ball obsessed heeler mix lives to run, play, and be part of the action. She sleeps soundly in her crate at night, comes when she is called, and is eager for love and connection. Blue would do best with older children who can enjoy her zest for life and keep up with her joyful energy.
