Story
Meet Winnie 🩵 Winnie’s journey with us began when we were contacted to help with her puppies. But we could never leave a mama behind—and this sweet girl has earned her own happy ending. Her pups, Lola, Vito, and Cleo, are on their way to bringing joy to new families, and now it’s Winnie’s turn to be someone’s beloved baby. This beautiful mama has done her job, raising her litter with love and care. She was originally rescued by a kind-hearted woman who also took in her not-by-blood but very-much-in-spirit sister, Harper—Winnie absolutely adores her. If you know cattle dogs, you know they’re loyal to the core, and Winnie is no exception. At first, she may be a little reserved—she likes to observe and understand new people. But give her a moment, and you’ll find a loyal, loving companion who wants nothing more than to be by your side. Winnie is happy both with and without other dogs. She enjoys running around with her friends at the dog park but never strays far—she’ll always circle back to make sure her person is still there. She’s house-trained, uses a doggie door, is non-destructive, and is learning how to walk on a leash. But honestly, once she bonds with you, she won’t want to wander far anyway. Winnie is great with humans of all sizes and has the kindest heart. Now it’s her time. She deserves a home where she can finally relax, feel safe, and never worry about being left behind again. We’re hoping someone sees the beautiful soul she is and gives her the forever family she’s been waiting for. Story
Codie - Codie is a 2 year old super sweet lab mix that has been in foster care his whole life, patiently waiting for his forever family. His sister, Roxxie, was with us as well, but she was adopted this past year to a wonderful family. Codie loves to go on walks and loves the dog park & being around other pups. He is very shy at first with humans and other pups, but it just takes him a little time to warm up. He just has to make sure he can trust you. He doesn't have a mean bone in his body. He loves snacks and cheese. That's the way to his heart. He is fully crate trained and potty trained. If there was ever a dog that was autistic, I believe Codie to be. He is so smart and has really come out of his shelter but it really does take time. He would love to live in his kennel if I would let him, but I won't. It's going to take a special family who will take the time with him. He would thrive with another pup to lead the way. He follows Snoop around and steals all the toys and loves to grab things in the house to take to his kennel. 😂 If you are missing something, he usually has it. He is so sweet and so funny.
