She does not get out if put in back or front yard. She is a inside dog. Gets along well with other dogs. Loves playing with toys. She sees the vet at Vetco in Conroe. I have all records from the day i got her till the last appointment she went to recently. Was adopted in California and is just not a good fit for my family or the pup. Unfortunately we do not have the time this pups needs to run around.

This poor girl had recently had pups and weighed only 18 lbs when rescued (our vet said she should be close to 40 lbs). Pretty was mostly skin and bones with very little hair left on her body (see her last photo), but true to her tough Heeler ancestry has made a remarkable recovery. Her beautiful coat came back in once she was provided with some TLC and all the quality food she needed to flourish. Pretty has the intelligence, personality and normal traits of a blue heeler and will make a great addition to some lucky family. She's very intelligent and energetic so might be a little 'much' around small children, or even try to herd them! Though she's very sweet and well-behaved, Pretty has a condition that causes her to leak urine when she sleeps. Her foster mom puts a people pee pad on top of her bed every night and then just puts it in the wash in the morning. She needs to be in a home with a nice fenced in backyard as she loves to spend time outside in the daytime. As with all our rescue pets, Pretty has been spayed and is current on her vaccinations, worming, heartworm prevention and flea control. Patch was found as a stray and one of our awesome vet partners treated him and asked us to take him in as he is a great boy! Roy, the little fox, is a bundle of mischievous joy! He's a fast learner and a fast runner. Roy is the ideal companion for someone who can provide him with lots of love and cuddles, as well as exercise and playtime. He enjoys staying near his foster as if he were the "office pet." He doesn't really like crates and would much rather sleep near his humans or doggy siblings. Since he is potty training, he is currently free to wander about at his foster's house but needs to stay on a schedule or to be able to go outside as needed (e.g., through a doggy door). He knows how to ring the bell to ask to go out. At his foster home, there are 2 cats, and Roy does okay with cats who are used to dogs and don't run, but if anyone runs (cats, dogs, or kids), he will assume it's playtime and chase. He is very energetic. Ideally, he will have 4 walks a day or 2 big ones. He will do well with a doggy sibling with whom he can play tug-a-war (his favorite game) or with an owner who enjoys long walks or some running or is willing to have a dog walker. He loves noisy toys and playing fetch. Roy is a great pup, if you need someone to tell you when someone is approaching your yard or door, he's your guy, he is ready to guard and alert. He is a loving dog, looking for a forever home that will continue to invest in good puppy manners. He is also great for those who enjoy teaching neat tricks, as he is incredibly smart. I did not get a lot of socialization with people before I was rescued from the streets, so it takes me some time to trust and get comfortable. I do enjoy the company of other dogs and puppies and would do well in a home with another dog. I am currently living in a foster home with another dog who is not as playful as me.
