Story
Heeler traits: independent, loyal/devoted, affectionate, strong work ethic Ivy was left behind at an apt complex and true to her breed, she was loyal enough to stay on the grounds for weeks evading capture. DJ Allen, the dog whisperer, came in and soothed her enough to loop her and stop her running. We were blessed to find a loving foster to allow her to decompress and now we can see how lovely a dog she is. She loves car rides, did well at the vet, was stoic while getting a public bath, and loves her little treat bites. Ivy is in a house with 2 adults, 2 children and 4 other dogs. Foster says she can usually be found in a quiet space or outside enjoying the sunshine. Rarely is there interaction with the other dogs, so Ivy would be great as an only dog. She would make a wonderful running or walking partner. Ivy is a tiny 43 lbs, thought to be around 3 years old, and is a quiet little girl. She has two eye colors, believed by Native Americans to see heaven and earth. She still needs to get spayed but get applications in as she will not last long.

Story
My name is Goofy and it couldn't be more fitting! I am, in fact, a goofball but I'm also a super smart guy with a big ole smile and ears who have a mind of their own. I am house trained, kennel trained (in fact, I feel safest eating my meals in my crate and won't feel threatened it's going to be taken from me), and know lots of commands- sit, wait, paw, kennel, down, drop it, and I play a great game of fetch. My favorite snacks are cold cucumbers! I love the kids in my foster homes and have learned to refrain from jumping on my people except when I'm just too excited to hold it in. I love playing with other dogs and would love a furry friend in my FURever home. No old, grouchy dogs, because I'm not great at not begging them to play, but I get along well with all sizes. Cats are like balls to me and I want to chase and fetch them, so it's best the home doesn't have any. I'm super friendly and looooove to be loved on so if your hands are free for endless pets, use them to submit an application to meet me!

Story
Hey there! Bruno here. After being abandoned in a shopping center, I was welcomed with open arms into my loving foster home. I'm an energetic guy who loves playing with other smaller dogs, especially the girlies. I've quickly shown how smart I am, too! I potty outside like I've learned from my furry friends and I'm even kennel-trained, too. Kids and cats are okay in my book, too! If you like my dreamy eyes and lovely coat, you should promptly apply to meet me! C'mon, let's be pals!

Story
***This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas*** If you want someone excited to see you everyday then this pup is the one for you. Pony had been living on the streets alongside two of our other residents, Bahia and Blackie, for months. We received all three dogs from a local shelter and immediately went into action for medical care and socialization. Pony in particular arrived to us with deep wounds from living on the streets, but luckily he did not let his past affect him. At first he was timid, but within a few days Pony began to open up to us. He will wiggle in happiness when you walk up to his kennel, he will happily lay down next to you, and he will gently nudge your hand for pets. Pony might require some patience to warm up to you but once he does he is the most loving dog that you could ever have. He is an absolute ROCKSTAR when it comes to playgroups, never meeting a canine stranger, and he has the potential to share his home with a cat or two, too! Are you ready to adopt this cheerful pup? *** Please apply to foster or adopt online at www.corridorrescue.org Direct inquiries to: adopt@corridorrescue.org The adoption fee of $225 covers spay/neuter, microchip and current vaccines. Transport is available and can be discussed on an individual basis. Thank you for considering a rescued former street dog for your next family member!

Story
**This dog is with Corridor Rescue in Houston, Texas** At just 2 years old and a petite 33 pounds, Siren has already worn the cape of Supermom—raising her nine mythologically named puppies with love and devotion. Now that her pups are weaned and thriving, it’s finally her turn to shine. Siren is friendly with everyone she meets, housetrained, and generally great on a leash (though her enthusiasm sometimes gets the better of her). She’s IDEXX heartworm negative and ready for her forever adventure. True to her name, Siren is a chatty girl with a lot to say—whether she’s greeting you, asking for attention, or just narrating her day. She’s looking for an active family who will appreciate her spirited personality, affectionate nature, and entertaining vocal stylings. During her time with us, we've learned she is both dog and cat social and smart as a whip! *** Please apply to foster or adopt online at www.corridorrescue.org Direct inquiries to: adopt@corridorrescue.org The adoption fee of $225 covers spay/neuter, microchip and current vaccines.
