Story
2 years old (estimated) Neutered male Active, playful, and loving Has done well with cats, dogs, and children at the shelter As a young and active boy, I thrive on excitement and would love to find a home that matches my energy. I get along great with kids and have even successfully cohabitated with cats in the past. Plus, I'm a social butterfly when it comes to dogs—I've made plenty of furry friends at the shelter! I absolutely adore running, playing fetch, and squeaking any toy I can get my paws on. But don't let my energy fool you—I'm also a super sweet guy who loves nothing more than being by the side of my people. With my smarts, loyalty, and well-mannered nature, I'm sure to be the perfect addition to your family. If you're searching for a furry companion who's as active as he is affectionate, then look no further, because I'm your boy! The online adoption listing websites require that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We encourage you to select your new companion by considering each dog's individual personality and pet qualities instead of relying on a breed label that is only a guess.June 20, 2025, 1:14 pm

Story
Meet Wyatt This adorable 8-month-old pup is a total sweetheart and loves being around people, especially cuddling up for a cozy movie night. At just 22 lbs, Wyatt is the perfect size for snuggling in your lap. He's great with kids, enjoys playtime at the dog park, and gets along well with other dogs with a proper introduction. Wyatt is a Velcro dog who wants to be by your side always. Although a bit nervous in new surroundings, he's working on building his confidence through desensitization and basic obedience training. Because Wyatt is not a fan of his crate, he would love a mommy or daddy who works from home or is a stay-at-home parent so he doesn’t have to be in his crate for long periods of time. If you're looking for a furry friend who will bring love and laughter into your life, look no further than Wyatt! He can't wait to find his forever home and start his new adventure with you. Please consider giving him a chance today I promise to bring you endless amounts of love, laughter, and puppy kisses! -Wyatt

Story
Meet Tabitha! This adorable little girl has been in Wisconsin now for nearly a year :( We've learned so much about her during this time we just know the perfect home is out there for her! She prefers the company of women, and love to hang out with other dogs. Shes quite the snuggler in bed if you let her sleep with you, or she's totally fine hanging out with other dogs to snooze. She enjoys her time outdoors and does best in a home with a fenced yard. She currently is in a foster home on a farm and enjoys all things farm related! Tabitha will do best in a home with herding breed experience! She might need more than one meeting to warm up to you, but once she does, you are her friend for life! Please help us find the perfect home for Tabitha! She's one of a kind! **Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once approved a meet and greet with the dog. Please do not apply if pets in the home are not up to date per our website requirements or are not altered. Wisconsin applications are priority, but Illinois applications will be considered if no small children are present in the home, the home is owned, and excellent vet reference can be provided. We cannot process applications from other states. Adoption fee is $350 unless otherwise noted above. Puppies under 1 year of age accept application for families with children over 6 years of age for large breeds and over 8 years of age for small breeds. Since they are still puppies, dogs under 1 will require a basic obedience and puppy training class, and spay/neuter at the owners expense.
