HI. I have fostered these 2 dogs for a neighbor who had to move. The dogs grew up together. The neighbor who owned them wanted to take them back at some point but has contacted me less about the situation. I travel for work and work a lot. I have 2 adopted cats as well. I am leaving on a trip for work and need to find somewhere for them. The Malinois is 4-5 years old and the the other is a 7 year Maltese Poodle I believe. Both are sweet dogs. They didn't get out a lot for walks or activities. I am not sure how they are with other dogs. I have 2 adopted cats that i have kept separate from them because the dogs have moved on them aggressively. They are mostly house trained but will mark their territory in the house. I have tried to get them as much exercise as possible. 1. Malinois - has been hit by a car in the past and is afraid of cars on walks. Lots of anxiety. Likes to play tug of war. 2. Maltese - A little food aggression. Other than that he is sweet.

With Zion’s training, the issues he was having leading to his surrender are very well managed. Zion is working on proofing his advanced obedience training, walks very well on leash, and is reliable off leash. Zion is looking for an active home that will continue to implement structure and keep up with his training to keep setting him up for success. He would be an excellent sport dog for anyone interested in getting him into a competition sport and/or other active lifestyle like hiking, running, or camping. Zion is a happy boy and hasn’t met a person whose face he couldn’t put a smile on. He is extremely eager to please, his engagement with his handler is amazing, and he’s always ready to go, go, go! Zion gets along very well with foster sister Kimber (a lab). Kimber has shown Zion that strangers aren’t always danger and has helped his confidence with new people.
