Story
Meet Terra Due to unforeseen circumstances, we need to find a new home for our 2-year-old Australian Kelpie, Terra. She's a great fit for an active family with a consistent routine and lots of love to give. Terra's Tale Terra is a mix of youthful energy and affection. She loves cuddling after burning off her energy. She's well-trained but may test your consistency. Experience with reactive dogs is preferred, as she's dog-reactive, but with care and training, she can be a great companion. She's social, good with people and cats, and understands the "gentle" command. Kennel and Treadmill Trained Terra is kennel and treadmill trained, making her well-behaved and adaptable.

Story
Terra was adopted almost 2 years ago from the San Diego humane society and was estimated to be between 6 months and a year old. Since coming home with us Terra has been a wonderful companion. She’s the perfect mix of bouncing off the wall, extreme intelligence, and cuddle bug lap dog all rolled into her 50lb casing. Unfortunately my husband and I can no longer keep this pup due to housing issues and must rehome her before October 7th 2023. Some things we want her new forever home to know before adopting is that *Terra is dog reactive and will need regular training as well as lots of regular daily exercise to help with her nervous energy.* Terra is well trained and picks up new tricks fairly easily. She’s had training with devotion to dogs and has even been treadmill trained to help with extra energy after walks. Though this pup can really get crazy at heart she really is a cuddle bug who just wants to lay with you and get belly scratches for hours. Please reach out with any questions!

Story
Baby Kirby urgently needs a foster home. Thinking of getting a dog? Why not test drive me. I am sure to be your faithful new best friend that will love you unconditionally forever and ever. Hi my name is Kirby. Some nice folks found me but can't keep me. I am just a baby. The vet says between 8 and 12 weeks old. No one knows what breed mix I am. People have guessed everything from a Miniature Pincher mix to an Australian Kelpie. We believe he is likely a Kelpie or a high content Kelpie mix. Everyone who meets me says who cares what I am. My breed is called Adorable. Take me home and watch me grow into a handsome beauty. I love everyone and everything. I urgently need a foster in California or a forever home. Transport can be arranged. Contact info@savethedals.org if you would like to give me a try. Go to www.savethedals.org to complete an adoption/foster application and send it to the same email address at info@savethedals.org
