Story
Meet Shelby This sweet 3-year-old girl has had a tough journey. Shelby was once adopted, but sadly, her person passed away. After that, she was boarded at a kennel facility in Spring Valley, San Diego — and no one ever came back for her. Shelby is shy and timid, but behind those gentle eyes is a heart that just wants to feel safe and loved again. She’s been living in a kennel for far too long and deserves a patient, kind person who can show her what it means to have a real home. The Heroic Tail Rescue is stepping in to help Shelby find her forever family — and will even provide free training if needed to help her adjust and build confidence. If you’re ready to give Shelby the love and security she’s been waiting for, please send us a message or apply online at www.theheroictail.orgOctober 6, 2025, 2:30 am

Story
Hi, I’m Rosy. When I was just a baby somebody threw me in the trash , I was scared, alone, hungry, and thirsty. Finally a nice lady found me and took me home. I thought I was finally safe. But she gave me to somebody without knowing much about them and they let me get hit with a car. I was in a lot of pain for ten days without medicine or vet care. Finally my mom found out about me and came and got me. She took me to the vet and my leg got fixed. She takes good care of me and I have a big sister I love to play with. We have so much fun playing with toys, wrestling, and going for walks. I love swimming at the beach, digging in the sand, and expliring. learned how to go potty outside and my mom and sister are teaching me new things every day. I am ready to go to my forever home now. I would like a home with another dog, I get lonely without company. If you would like to know more about me email my mom at dgobe9@hotmail.com

Story
Meet Sassie! She is around 3 years old and we believe she is a mix of Australian Kelpie and Terrier. Sassie is good with other dogs, always ready to play. She is also great with kids and even is respectful of the cat in her foster home. She is medium energy, enjoying chasing a toy or ball but also always down to relax at your side. She loves to go for walks and is working on her leash manners. She is housetrained and sleeps quietly in her crate at night. If you think you are ready to add to your family by adopting Sassie then fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website today! We recommend completing the questionnaire and connecting with an adoption coach before looking for a dog or puppy you'd like to adopt. If you're already approved to adopt or if you've adopted from Labs and More before, connect with your adoption coach for the next steps. Your interest in adopting a rescued dog or puppy from Labs and More Rescue is appreciated! Please find our adoption information at www.labsandmore.org. Your adoption donation provides funding for Labs and More, a nonprofit organization which is supported solely by Volunteers and funded by donations. Good news is your adoption donation can be considered tax deductible. So much care is provided to your new dog prior to the adoption, including: spay and neuter, microchip, veterinarian visit(s), vaccinations, and other medical care as needed. Many of the dogs we rescue require extensive surgeries and care prior to adoption. Please understand we are unable to predict future behavior or medical needs of your adopted dog. We provide no guarantees regarding behavior, breed, or age of the dogs. Thank you for rescuing. Thank you for joining the Adoption Family with Labs and More Rescue.
