Story
Bob (aka “Bruiser”) is an adorable little doll of a puppy who was born 8/22/2023. His online “DNA” shows him to be an Australian Kelpie and Aussie Cattle Dog blend. Bob is not only cuter than a bug, his coloring is delightful with his black and golden coat and his eyes with a hint of green, This little doll is playful, smart, affectionate, and doesn’t even bark. This boy is likely to grow up to be medium sized – a perfect size for a family companion, beach dog, hiking pal, or camping buddy! Of course, Bob’s adoption covers his baby shots, neuter, and worm medicine, as needed. Bob is very, very good natured and playful – he loves other dogs, cats, and humans. To meet Bob and all our other little dolls for adoption, please call (760) 445-8571.

Story
Here's the story of a pretty mama who ended up pregnant and on the streets. She was rescued by Labs and More and not long after, gave birth to 10 adorable puppies - the Brady pups! Mama Brady is a beautiful chocolate and cream colored girl. We believe she is a mix of Australian Shepherd, Kelpie and possibly Hound. She is around 40 lbs. Her Brady pups are quite the mix of colors and coat types. We don't know who their dad was but think they could have some Lab and Border Collie in them as well. Currently, the Brady pups are in a loving foster home getting lots of attention, playtime and socialization. They have been around dogs, kids and cats. Mike is looking for a family that understands the time, patience, and energy needed to raise a young pup. We require all puppy adopters to provide training that includes: house training, basic training, leash training, and socialization. Additionally, this cutie is going to need proper exercise, mental stimulation, and your attention and love to grow up to be the best companion. We do not allow our dogs or puppies to sleep or live outside; they must be incorporated into your family and be made a priority in your life. In return, you will have the most loving and loyal family member you could ask for. If you think you are ready to add to your family by adopting a Brady pup, then fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website today! We recommend completing the questionnaire and connecting with an adoption coach before looking for a dog or puppy you'd like to adopt. If you're already approved to adopt or if you've adopted from Labs and More before, connect with your adoption coach for the next steps. Your interest in adopting a rescued dog or puppy from Labs and More Rescue is appreciated! Please find our adoption information at www.labsandmore.org. Your adoption donation provides funding for Labs and More, a nonprofit organization which is supported solely by Volunteers and funded by donations. Good news is your adoption donation can be considered tax deductible. So much care is provided to your new dog prior to the adoption, including: spay and neuter, microchip, veterinarian visit(s), vaccinations, and other medical care as needed. Many of the dogs we rescue require extensive surgeries and care prior to adoption. Please understand we are unable to predict future behavior or medical needs of your adopted dog. We provide no guarantees regarding behavior, breed, or age of the dogs. Thank you for rescuing. Thank you for looking to Adopt a Labrador Retriever or other Mixed Breed Dog from California Labradors Retrievers and More Rescue. Please take a moment and go to www.labsandmore.org and click on Adopt to complete our online dog adoption application. If you have any questions email us at doginfo@labsandmore.org or call us at 858-273-5386. Thank you for looking to a rescue group to fulfill your dream of adding a new dog to your life! Story
Gorda is a wonderful 10 year old dog with an amazing story.  She is from Rosarito, Mexico where she was taken in by a wonderful man who saved many dogs.  He had 28 dogs and always set up by the main road with his dogs.  He was know as the Dog Guy and people always stopped to offer donations or dog food and play with the dogs.  This kind soul dedicated his life to these dogs.  He fed them, took care of them and gave them unconditional love.  Unortunately, he became ill and after a short time passed away.  Gorda was with him throughtout his illness and there til the very end.  Fortunately, most of the dogs have found homes.  Gorda is one of 2 dogs still waiting for her forever home.  She is currently with a foster in Rosarito.  She is in good health, house broken, up to date on all vaccines, is steralized and has been treated for parasites and has received flea and tick treatment.  Please contact us if you would like to meet this beautiful, loving girl.   ##1678051##
