Rosco was a stray dog found when he was just a tiny pup when he had fallen into a neighbor's swimming pool. Fortunately, Rosco knew how to swim and was keeping himself afloat until rescue came! Neighbors scooped him up and he was no worse off for his adventure. His foster family took him in and he has been busy having adventures ever since. Rosco is a very friendly and confident little guy who loves to play with his foster mates, both male and female puppies, as well as older adult dogs. He is not at all shy and has lots of energy and he's pretty fearless. He has beautiful eyes and also loves to be picked up and snuggled. Rosco is VERY smart and we think he will benefit from having an adopter who can channel his energy and intelligence with obedience training to make him the best dog buddy he can be. From her loving nature to her quick learning, this family doggy is a STAR! The IDEAL HOME will have two (or even LOTS more!) children, a VERY LARGE FENCED YARD, as well as someone home most of the time. Kelpies crave time to give their love and companionship. This is NOT an apartment dog. If you're looking for a FABULOUS girl to entertain your family, join you on daily RUNNING (or even walking) go hiking/beach/baseball games, THIS IS YOUR GIRL! We hardly have to mention that Nikki is ABSOLUTELY STUNNING- everywhere she goes she turns heads! Her grace, poise and charm turn heads. She is alert and aware of everthing in her environment. Also on her Doggy Resume is RODENT CONTROL! If you have a gopher or rodent issue of any kind, this FAST and bright girl will save you thousands of dollars in Pest Control. Nikki is an alpha girl, so any companion doggy should be mellow. More than anything else Domingo loves time with his person or people. Happy as can be chilling and cuddling indoors. If you go outside, that is where he wants to be as well. He will run and play as long as you are there. He will take all the attention you have to give, but will let it go if you call him away. He is great with adults and eager to make new people friends. He loves hiking, playing chase, and swimming fetch ( he will bring the ball/stick “close” to you). He is reactive to other dogs/animals. He will bark at other dogs on walks and generally be protective of his person (especially female). Domingo is not a dog-park or dog-beach boy. He is not going to work with houses with small children. A home with adults only and space to roam is what Domingo needs. With that environment he is the sweetest boy you will ever meet! He is ~6 years old and somehow has puppy and grandpa vibes all at once. We LOVE him. But our 9 month old baby is making life too stressful for him.
