Here's Stormi, our sweet and petite 26 pound Australian Kelpie mix. She's just 10-11 months old and is so adorable with a beautiful black coat with white markings on her chest and tip of her tail. She's a very sweet girl who was rescued with her sister who was adopted and now, it's Stormi's turn. She loves everyone she meets and seeks out affection...she just wants to be loved and cuddled. She also loves playing with other dogs and we think she'd love having a doggie sibling to play with and show her the ways of the world. She really would be a great pup for any adopter who is looking for a friendly, fun and loving dog. She's living with a Foster family who they say she's wonderful with their dogs and both adults and kiddos. We think she'd do best living in a suburban area with a fenced in yard and a doggie sibling or neighborhood pups because she's so loves to play. If you’re looking for a loyal sidekick, the Joey is your guy. We think this gorgeous, tricolor male could be a cross between an Australian Shepard and an English Shepard, both of which are very intelligent breeds. He would be the perfect dog for someone who works from home. Joey walks well on a leash, even though he pulls a bit, and rides well in a car. Joey gets along well with other dogs and loves to play with the dogs in his foster home. Joey would make a great hiking buddy as he is always ready for an adventure. He was picked up as a stray and is guesstimated to be between 3-5 years old. Due to his activity level, we think he is closer to 3 years old. Joey has been neutered, is to up to date on vaccinations and is microchipped. Unfortunately, Joey did test positive for heartworms. Since he is asymptomatic for heartworms, he is on the slow kill method to eliminate them, and he should test negative in a year or two. In the meantime, he can live life normally without any restrictions. Joey’s adoption donation is $450 which includes the $165 transport fee. Joey is being fostered in Arkansas. If you would like to adopt Joey, please fill out an adoption application. The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. Meet Boochie! Boochie was adopted back in 2021 and has known what it feels like to have a home… which makes it all the harder that she’s once again looking for one. She’s approximately 6 years old, weighs about 65 pounds (and yes — she’s a little chunky and proud of it) and she gets along well with other dogs. Right now, Boochie is missing having a place to belong. She misses the comfort of a couch, the routine of daily life, and the feeling of being someone’s dog.
