From his foster: “Ralphie – Your Adventure Co-Star1 year old | 48 lbs | Australian Shepherd MixRalphie is the kind of dog who forms deep bonds and wants to truly be part of your life. He’s intelligent, expressive, and athletic — a classic working-breed mix who thrives when he has structure, purpose, and connection. At one year old, and still figuring out the world, he can be sensitive in new situations and has shown some fear-based reactivity in the past. hi! I'm Pear Blossom and I am an angel. I am around 3 years old and weigh 55 lbs. I am crate trained and house broken and I am also good with dogs. I am affectionate but not overly needy and I would love a home where we can go do fun stuff together. I have a medium energy level and am currently doing neighborhood walks with my foster family. I was rescued with a wound around my neck from a collar that became too tight. The rescue folks got me surgery and the nice doctors sutured me up and I will be like new again! Story
Jax is a stunning, tricolor Australian Shepherd with brains and beauty to match. At just 2 years old, he’s an intelligent, high-energy, and deeply affectionate boy who thrives when his mind and body are put to work. This handsome guy is play-motivated and driven—frisbee is his love language, and he’s always down for hiking adventures or a solid game of tug. He’s incredibly smart and already knows a reliable “out” command, showing just how far he’s come with his training. Jax is crate trained, house-trained, e-collar trained, and muzzle conditioned, and he continues to impress us everyday. Because Jax is a working breed with strong genetic needs, he’s looking for an active, experienced adopter who understands higher-drive dogs and can provide consistent structure, clear rules, and plenty of physical and mental outlets. When those needs are met, Jax truly shines. He would do best in a home without kids, but he’s good with other dogs, when introductions and boundaries are handled thoughtfully. Jax is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and ready for his next chapter. He’s affectionate, loyal, eager to work, and will make an incredible companion for the right person—someone who’s excited to partner with him, not just walk him. If you’re looking for a smart, active adventure buddy with a big heart and a gorgeous coat to match, Jax might be your perfect fit.

Story
I have an almost five-year old Australian Shepard that unfortunately I need to re-home. She is a nervous, but ultimate a very good dog. She is pad trained, but does not go to the bathroom outside on walks because of her nervousness. We have a pad on the patio where she goes "outside." She would probably benefit from someone who has a yard where she could go to the bathroom in "peace" and run around on her own. She is pretty good with children (we have children from 4 to 21). She barks when people are at the door and when she is hungry. She is afraid of other dogs. She had a sister who was the alpha and she followed well. A trainer we used had an alpha dog where she followed well. I just want to find a good home for her.

These pups are in Los Angeles, California too!

Story
2 yr old tricolor M/N Kelpie/GSD mix Looking for a dogs dog?? Gunner is your guy! He was comfortable enough around me, allowed touch, took treats, interacted some with me, but he really really wanted to play with the big dog in the next yard. He wasn't aloof though! Took treats gently, eager to please and loved being called a good boi, it was a fun yard time for both us us He does seem to be feeling the stress from the shelter, some have had some trouble getting him out of his kennel but he was perfectly behaved for me. This is an active breed, he will need consistent physical and mental exercise to be happy, it is likely what is causing his current stress and occasional barrier reactivity. It is worth noting that he was a very loud bork monster when I first approached his kennel but after 3 treats he was ready to follow me anywhere I was going Knows how to sit, walks well on the leash (just a tiny bit of pulling) and seemed potty trained!! ##2528145##

Story
Montana is an affectionate 4-year-old Lab/Pit mix who’s ready to be your loyal companion for life. This sweet girl is a fetch fanatic who lives for playtime and loves nothing more than chasing balls with her favorite humans. She’s both treat and toy motivated and ready to learn new tricks. Montana gets along fine with other dogs, but she’s truly a people-focused pup who wants to be your number-one play partner. On a recent Doggie Day Out adventure, she proved to be a calm car passenger and a wonderful trail companion. She enjoys sniffy walks and likes to lead the way without pulling on the leash. Though Montana can be a little shy when meeting new people, she warms up quickly with patience (and a few tasty treats). Once she feels comfortable, she enjoys gentle petting and cuddle time with her friends. If you can toss a tennis ball, you’re already in her inner circle! Montana was placed on final because shelter life has become overwhelming for her. Repeated encounters with unfamiliar people reaching into her kennel have left her feeling uneasy, and she may growl or show her teeth to ask for space. But outside the kennel, Montana’s true personality shines—sweet, playful, and full of love. Montana will thrive in a calm, patient home that gives her time to decompress and build trus ##2599337##

Story
Lana is full of love, she's very affectionate, playful, loves outdoors specially beaches and green hikes. She's hypoallergenic so she doesn't shed like normal dogs. She's very soft. She's super super intelligent and requires daily activity. not just a quick walk so if you cannot be active with her play with her like fetch or take her to the hikes or beach daily then this would be hard. Unless you have a backyard and kids and puppies to play with her during the day. border collies are very intelligent and playful dogs and poodles come as second.
