Jolene & Mia are about 1.5-2 years old. Both are spayed and vaccinated. They enjoy walks, playing with toys, wrestling with each other or their dog friends, sunbathing, and being brushed. These two were found abandoned and living in the desert with few other dogs last year. Since then, many people have put in a lot of effort to teach them humans are not the enemy. They have come a long way and are now ready to begin bonding with their future family. Mia can be shy at first but after about 1 day she will start to show more interest until she's cuddled up next to you or barking at you to play. She knows how to walk nice on leash, sit-down, place. She's working on her stay, leave it and come still. Jolene is much more shy. She is a dog that will need a routine and time in order to trust her new owner. She has just started allowing us to pet and brush her which she is really enjoying. She knows how to sit, go to her place and loves her crate. It would be best for the girls to be adopted together however they can be adopted separately.

This is SENJI, a 6 mo spayed female. She was taken from a homeless encampment. We had her vetted, spayed & vaccinated. She is about 25-30 lbs. She has a foster home but they can only foster for another week. She is crate trained and they are working on housetraining. She’s with another dog and they get along well. Meet Doodle! Doodle is a 7-year-old mini-Australian shepherd. He is a super smart, funny and loving dog but he is not for the first-time dog owner. True to his breed, he has a very high herding instinct and is protective of his home. He is also very obedient, knows all his commands, is potty-trained, crate trained, and absolutely can't get enough attention from his person. He requires a lot of exercise (just a walk isn't enough), so he'll need an active owner who will run with him, hike with him, and take him on adventures. Doodle would do great in agility or herding activities. He can be reactive with larger dogs so we are looking for a home without a resident dog over 20 lbs. but he does get along well with small dogs and cats (although he does like to herd them when he gets excited). In his foster home, Doodle lives with four other dogs and two cats. He does really well with the established boundaries in his foster home and flourishes when he knows the rules and what's expected of him. In addition to regular exercise, his foster mom gives him puzzles, interactive toys and lick mats that help to keep him mentally stimulated. He is a great guard dog and very protective so he can be reactive to visitors in his home. Doodle is also selective with who he likes and tends to favor women over men so introductions to new people must be done slowly and with care. Doodle is a medium size dog, weighing in at 35 lbs., is neutered and up-to-date on his vaccines. He is an amazing guy and we know his perfect home is out there. Doodle is looking for a quite home with no children where he would prefer to be the only dog. He needs an owner who has owned a herding breed before and is up for the challenge of owning a high energy, intelligent dog. Is it you?

Mylee is a sweet, energetic, cuddly, and sassy puppy. She has been fostered for about 2 months. Her first family could no longer care for her due to a change in the family’s circumstances. She is very good with other dogs and loves people. She was around children when she was little but not recently so I’m not sure how she will do. She is still learning but knows basic commands and is working on house training. She would do well with an active individual/family. She is crate trained and the adoption fee is for the crate and we will also drive her to you.
