Story
It’s obvious that Chet has STAR quality! Not only is he the most handsome guy around, but he is also a very affectionate dog and he is very smart. He went to puppy school as a youngster and learned his basic commands. He being on the receiving end of his human’s attention, snuggling with them on the couch, sleeping in the bed with them and he always gives kisses freely. He’s a lot of fun too… loves to play with toys, and if you’ll throw them, he will catch and retrieve balls and frisbees. Chet is a fairly quiet and a little shy and he want’s all of his human’s attention for himself. That being said, he needs to be the only dog in the home. He gets along with other dogs as long as they are laid back/submissive, but prefers not to live with them. He hasn’t been around little kids, but would be fine around older kids that would respect him and treat him with kindness. Chet will make a wonderful companion for some lucky family! He is three years old (dob 11/9/21) and weighs 40-45 pounds, has been neutered, micro-chipped, 4DX heartworm tested, fecal tested, is current on all vaccinations, worming, heartworm and flea prevention. His adoption fee is $400. Chet is being fostered in Tennessee. Once adopted he will be transported to his pickup location by a professional dog transport company. Our rescue ships to the Northeast area every week and his fee includes transportation. Due to state laws, we cannot accept applications from residents of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island or Maine since we can’t adopt directly to those states.

Story
Meet Champ, a ~1 year old neutered male Australian Shepherd/Collie mix, weighing about 45 lbs! This handsome boy is very sweet but timid. He has been working on building his confidence in his foster home. He was definitely undersocialized as a young pup, and as a result, he is unsure of new people/places/things at first. He needs a little time and patience to warm up, but he is SO worth the wait! He is good with other dogs, people, and older kids 8+ who know to respect a dog's space (due to his nervous/timid nature, also as a young herding breed, he may try to herd small children). He has not been cat tested, so we are unsure how he would do with cats.  Champ is very smart and a quick learner, which is definitely the Aussie in him! He is an energetic boy who would love a fenced in yard of his own to get out his zoomies and play some fetch! He would also be thrilled to have a confident doggo sibling to help show him the ropes.  He is medically up to date, housebroken, and crate trained. Apply to meet this special boy today!  Click HERE for Adoption Application: pawsrescueleague.org/adopt Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs.  We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted.  As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding! ##2534125##

This uniquely gorgeous, chocolate tiger striped angel is Clovis! This snuggly beauty came into rescue at only a few days old when her mama and siblings were abandoned. Her mom is a purebred chocolate bicolor mini Aussie and the whole little family was swooped up by an amazing foster home who immediately welcomed them and raised them with love! Clovis is now a 12 week old angel! She’s been vetted all along for age appropriate vet care and now she has had all medical work completed! She’s current on her vaccines, deworming, preventative and she’s microchip, and spayed! She’s a healthy little darling and is officially ready to find her forever home! This girl has been in a warm loving foster home since the very beginning where she’s had endless snuggling, kisses, food and love! Her mama was a wonderful, doting mama to her (and her mom has since found a great home!). Clovis has been raised socialized with not only her siblings but also playing with other pups, socialized with cats, playing around in the water, taking walks, car rides, and playing with the kids in the neighborhood! She’s going great with her house training and is overall such a wonderful puppy. She has a wonderfully balanced temperament, ready to join you on any activity a whether it’s a fun hike in the woods or a snuggly cozy movie night. Shes medium activity, social butterfly, intelligent and amazingly gorgeous! The sky is the limit for this incredible girl and she can’t wait to find true love! Story
This absolutely adorable green eyed baby boy is Cutler! He came in when he was just a couple days old, abandoned in a box with his siblings and his devoted mom by their side. Their mama is a beautiful purebred chocolate bicolor mini Aussie, and her babies have grown to be equally as beautiful and unique! Thankfully they immediately went into foster care where this mama was able to raise her babies with lots of food, support, warmth and love! Cutler is about 12 weeks old now and is currently weighing a happy healthy chunky medium sized 15 lbs! He’s a wonderfully healthy little man who has now had his medical work completed! He’s current on vaccines, deworming, preventative, he’s microchipped, and now neutered! He’s absolutely thriving and is now looking for his dream home! Since he was a tiny baby he has been raised in a home with lots of love and socialization! He’s wonderful with other dogs (he would love to live with a doggy sibling!), he’s been great with cats, and he’s a lover of all people! He’s got a medium healthy puppy energy level, thriving with his doggy play groups and loving playing with toys and playing fetch! He has an excellent disposition and is doing well with his housetraining and leash training! He is absolutely gorgeous with his rust colored ears and freckles, and incredible eyes! He loved to be held, hugged, kissed and snuggled! So parents who want a snuggly pup are an absolute must. He is the kind of pup who will thrive with love, affection and attention, who wants to join you on life’s adventures and be true to his sweet, active, social butterfly self! He’s a wonderful boy and now just needs to find true love!
