Story
Meet Magellan! He had been living on the street for a few months when someone asked if we could take him in. He’s sooooo happy and bouncy! He weighs 51 pounds and is about a year old, still a baby with sparkling white teeth! He is GREAT with the other dogs in the yard, but plays a little too rough for smaller dogs. He has a chill disposition and isn’t dominant with the other dogs. Magellan is super smart and did great during his brief time in a temporary home. He learned sit and down quickly, and he does well in his crate. He loves to cuddle. Magellan loves to play! He would be a great addition to any home!IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. WE ARE A TX BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application found at haydudeequine.org Dakota - You are the bridge between what was and what will be, my pathway to a new life! Hi ya everyone!! Let me introduce myself, I'm Dakota. I am just the cutest lil girl and I'm here looking for a family, a home...one that I can say will be ALL mine! I'm just a lil munchkin (for now) at almost 3 months and should be a nice medium size of around 35-40lbs when I get myself all the way growed up. I'm sweet, active, playful and just ready to explore...everywhere. I'm at that spongey stage in life where I'm soaking up everything! I'm a very social girl that loves people both tall and small but I do have those sharp lil nails and teeth yet. I love playing with my siblings and the other resident pups here at my foster home. I haven't had a chance yet to meet any of those creatures y'all call a cat but at my tender age, I'm sure I'd be just fine with them too. I've got a super sweet nature that is loving, playful and snuggly (if you can get me to hold still) that would love to be your lil blob of clay to be molded into the bestest family addition...could it possibly be with YOUR family?!! You can fill out my adoption application found at haydudeequine.org

Story
This boy was brought back because he was too much of a puppy who chewed because he was left alone and bored. So he is on the hunt for a family who will understand his needs and keep him busy!! He has a lot of energy and playing is his thing. He likes to play with other dogs, chew on toys and run run run. He does fine with kids, will have to learn about cats. He will need some work on housetraining and leashes. He is a bit stubborn when learning manners so will need a family who can work with that. A routine that occupies his time would also be a plus as that works with his breed mix. He is a sweet boy that has a wonderfully fun personality who just wants to live to the fullest. He needs a life full of adventures and activities and we know that family is out there for him. Dax is being fostered in TN but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders.

Story
Meet Kage, the ultimate good boy who's just so darn cute! This gentleman is a pro at house living, fully potty trained, and a master at walking on a leash and harness. He's a social butterfly, getting along famously with other dogs and loving those backyard playdates with his pals. Kage is a stunning mix of Lab and Border Collie, the perfect blend of intelligence and family-friendliness. He's just the right size, like a mini Lab or a slightly larger Border Collie. When you find two fantastic things that go together like peanut butter and jelly, you celebrate! Kage is that winning combo, and now you can celebrate by making him a cherished member of your family. His temperament is pure gold - sweet as honey with everyone he meets. Now, here's the scoop: Kage is a special needs pup, and he's looking for someone who can be with him about 90 percent of the time. Storms, rain, and loud noises send him into severe panic attacks, and he's been known to chew through walls when anxiety strikes. Crates aren't his jam because of past storm-related trauma. He's also dealing with seizures, so he's on medication for that. Kage would thrive in a local adoption, and he's best as a single dog with no cats or small animals around. He's a wonderful companion for older kids, and he loves nothing more than cuddles and long walks. He's got the whole house training thing down too. His foster mom adores him and has prepared him for his forever family as best she can. Now, the ball is in your court. Remember, when you adopt Kage, you're not just bringing home a good boy; you're giving him the loving, understanding home he deserves. Don't shop, adopt, because Kage's life depends on it! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area - $50 Temporary Fuel Charge will be added)
