Clyde is a happy, playful boy who believes there's simply way too much fun to be had to sit still for very long! He's always ready for the next wrestling match, a good case of the zoomies, or a toy that needs his immediate attention. Other dogs are definitely Clyde's favorite playmates. He absolutely loves his puppy roommates and is happiest right in the middle of whatever they're doing. Whether they're racing around the yard, wrestling, or investigating something new, you can count on Clyde joining the party. He's also been respectful of the cats in his foster home. Clyde enjoys his people too and gets excited when he sees you—he'll happily engage in a little human-versus-puppy wrestling match! He's just not quite as interested in stopping for pets and cuddles as some of his roommates. Right now, playtime wins over snuggle time, and with so much puppy business on his schedule, who can blame him? As he continues getting more individual attention and bonding with his own family, we think there's still plenty of Clyde's personality waiting to unfold. He loves toys, running around outside, and putting those puppy legs to good use. He's currently working on potty training and learning all the other skills that come with growing into a very good boy. Clyde would love a family that appreciates his playful spirit and will give him the time and space to build his relationship with them naturally. And if there's another playful dog in the family? Monty is a great name for a great dog like me ;) I have the Monty Python kind of humor... goofy and sweet! But, don't mess with my crate! That really is my only "pet: peeve!! I was found on the streets 2 years ago and was adopted as a pup... however, I became the boss in the house and didn't like anyone entering the house that I didn't know :( SO..... Back to the rescue, because they won't give up on me!! So here I am and I have really adjusted to the environment and new people meeting me and treats and lots of love. AND the crew here basically has determined that I need a family/adopters that will be in charge of the house. Someone I can trust to protect me so I don't have to!! I am vocal in my crate, so my crate needs to be away from the common areas so I can relax and not meet everyone that stops by. Once I settle into my new home I will follow your lead! I am a gorgeous boy, with caramel and milk chocolate highlights in my soft fur. I want to please my family and go on all kinds of adventures! I am awesome out and about, meeting new people and new friends :D I hope you will look into my eyes, the windows to my soul, and see the HOPE I have to find my own home again! My owner passed away, leaving me behind with my six puppies. Thankfully, some kind neighbors stepped up to care for us until Hay Dude Rescue could take us in. I’ve spent my time being a mama, looking out for my babies, and doing my best to survive. Now it’s finally MY turn to be taken care of. I’m about 2 years old and weigh around 55 pounds, which makes me a perfectly sized companion for someone looking for a medium-sized best friend. I’m a beautiful girl with a heart of gold, but I’ll be honest with you: I’m a little shy when meeting new people. I have a feeling I’m going to be VERY good at keeping my future family entertained! Mama weighs around 55 pounds, and I’m expected to be about that size myself when I’m all grown up. Meet Wiley! Wiley is an approximately 1.5 year old Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix (best guess) with a happy personality and a very smart mind. He is an active boy who is always ready for his next adventure and would thrive with a family that understands the needs of intelligent working breeds. Wiley is high energy and will need a breed knowledgeable owner committed to continuing his training and providing both mental and physical stimulation. He is eager to learn and already does pretty well on a leash. With consistency and structure, Wiley has the potential to become an incredible companion. He would do best with an active family that enjoys walks, outdoor activities, training, and keeping their dogs engaged. Wiley is the kind of dog who wants to be involved in life right alongside his people. Wiley is neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccines and preventions. Local adoption fee is $300 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hi there... I'm Dixie. I'm quite literally the best girl, according to the staff and volunteers here at the rescue. About me: I LOVE the water—I could swim all day! I'm fully potty and house trained, and I'll even let you know when I need to go outside by crying at the door. I walk nicely on a leash and absolutely love playing fetch (at least until my age catches up with me. I know my name, and have excellent recall. I seem to do okay with larger dogs, but smaller dogs I do not like.  I am a quiet, gentle soul looking for a forever home to call my own. While I may be a little older, I still enjoy playing with my toys and spending time with other dogs when the mood strikes. My journey here has been quite the adventure. During a big storm, the local fire department found me in the water and brought me to the rescue. They later realized they had actually been trying to catch me for months, believing I was a stray. But it turns out I wasn't always on my own. I once had a loving owner, but after he passed away, I was given away because his mother was no longer able to care for me due to her own health challenges. I'm already spayed, fully vaccinated, 4DX tested (positive for heartworm), and up to date on my ProHeart 12 and Bravecto. I am heartworm positive right now, but I’ve already started treatment. I’ve been on antibiotics and am going through the ProHeart 12 protocol approved by the American Heartworm Society. The good news is that with this treatment, I should test negative in about 8–10 months. My adoption fee is $250, and you can apply to adopt me at www.adoggie4you.org. I'm currently in Texas, but I can travel to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington (Kentucky), and locations along the East Coast for an additional $250 transport fee. Now, before we go any further into my story.... let me warn you...it contains heartache and then some puppies, and fear and even some hopelessness. We do go to the top of the mountain as well, so hold in for the wild ride of my life:) maybe you will get to be my happily ever after.... So I was born a poor border collie mixed pup, in the miserable heat, in a disgusting backyard. To a mama that could have been so beautiful, if she had been brushed and cared for.... Fast forward thru almost 4 YEARS of misery and puppies, we were saved!!! I was saved with 9 newborn puppies and my sister/daughter/ cousin, etccc Princess and HER 9 PUPPIES TOO! We landed safe and sound at the rescue! We are now gorgeous girls and all pups grown and adopted! Now its time for me!! I am a single gal, and really don't like other dogs in my business. I want to be the Queen of the house :D Adopt me and I will fill YOUR home with my love and devotion.
