Story
Meet Bear, a striking, intelligent, and affectionate 5-year-old Australian Shepherd and German Shepherd mix who is ready to find a forever home where he can thrive. Bear is beautiful, smart, crate-trained, and full of energy. Bear has been raised around other dogs, including small breeds, and gets along well with them. He has excellent herding instincts and needs space to run, so a home with a fenced yard is ideal. Bear loves to play, is very loyal, and thrives with active owners who understand shepherd breeds. We’re rehoming him because we travel often now and want him to have the consistent love and attention he deserves. He needs a safe, loving home. He’s an amazing dog and deserves the best.

Story
Dylan is looking for his forever home! We believe he is 9 yo and don’t know much about his past. He came to ASF thin, scared, and matted. Despite his past, he has flourished in his foster home. Dylan is a black tri that is about 35lbs and has limited vision in his left eye, it is not a blue eye. He is very tolerant and does well with brushing, ear cleaning, nail trimming, teeth brushing, taking medication, ect. He is scared of the noise clippers make. He is not a fan of most forms of water but enjoys playing in the rain. He is a very low energy pup. He will do best in a home with someone who is retired or works from home. He is crate trained. He does not enjoy car rides or leash walks as they stress him out. He struggles with separation anxiety, as many Aussies do, but he also gets stress related poops. He is best kenneled if leaving the house to avoid messes. Dylan is a very sweet pup that is learning to love the good life. He enjoys strolls around the yard, rolling in the grass, and taking a nap at foster mom’s feet. He gets the zoomies anytime foster mom comes back from the grocery store. He is okay with other dogs as long as they allow him his space. Because of his vision he gets nervous when other dogs are in his face. He also does well with other small animals as he is very gentle. He does not climb or jump so you don’t have to worry about him hopping up on the couch or bed, unless you put him there. He is food motivated and gets very excited for meals. He has picked up some tricks from his fellow housemates, like giving his paw for pets, and pressing some of the talking buttons. He is sometimes nervous around new people but is quickly appeased with treats and pets. Dylan is a nervous Nelly that has had a tough life but is a very sweet and gentle boy. He has the best Dobby ears and bleps anytime he falls asleep. If you are looking for a low energy Aussie , Dylan may be your man! He is neutered and up to date on shots. Here is the link to the application: https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to his new furever family.

Story
Looking for twice the love, twice the loyalty, and twice the Aussie charm? Brand and Rigby are a bonded pair of Australian Shepherds who balance each other out in the best way—and they’re ready to find a forever home together!Brand is a merle-and-white goofball with endless energy and a heart of gold. He’s all about fetch, walks, swimming, and sticking close to his people. He knows a few tricks, crates well when home alone, and loves being brushed. Just be sure to have a secure fence—he’s a bit of a tester! Brand has completed his heartworm treatment and is back to normal activity. He’ll need a follow-up test in six months, which HALO will cover.Rigby, his brown-and-white sister, is the calmer half of the duo. She enjoys walks, grooming, and relaxing in her crate, and while toys aren’t her thing, she’s very affectionate. She can be a little protective of food around other pets but is easygoing with people. Rigby has also completed treatment for Lyme disease and Ehrlichia and is doing great.Together, they’re the perfect mix of silly and sweet, ready to fill your home with laughter and love.Requirements: Martingale Collars; No Small Children (Rigby); Brand is Foster-To-Adopt (Heartworm Re-test)All of our dogs and cats are spayed/neutered, up to date with age appropriate vaccinations, heart worm or feleuk/FIV tested, fecal tested, rabies and tag, and microchipped before being placed in your home. Our adoption fee helps cover this cost.

Story
Brodie is 5 years old. Crate trained. He can be mischievous if left alone ie. Trash cans He Loves people. We have fostered him for about 3 months and previous owners had him since 6 weeks old. He is great with kids and other dogs but we have another younger dog of our own in the home and ours does not allow Brodie to be to himself or left alone. He listens. He barks. He is very sweet and he is calm (low anxiety) for his breed. Please call or text if interested 4073012839
