Story
Cash is truly this most loving affectionate puppy you will ever meet. I originally saved him from an unsafe situation with the intention of finding someone who could give him a safe and loving home. He loves cuddles, kids, and anything food related! Hes currently 7 months old and Im looking for a responsible, loving home where he can get the consistency he deserves. He lacks that with me as I am a busy college student but I know he will be a bundle of joy for whoever is willing to provide him the attention he deserves!

Story
Sweet Girl Maggie Needs a New Home 🐾 Maggie is a friendly, 70 lb rescue, almost 2 years old, looking for a new family due to changes in our living/work situation. She’s great with people, cats, and other dogs — loves to play in short bursts then curls up next to her humans. Knows basic commands, up to date on shots, and currently goes to doggy daycare a couple days a week. She is spayed. She does get a little anxious in new situations and freezes, then after a minute she is okay. Looking for a loving home where she can get playtime + cuddle time. Message me with questions or to set up a meet-and-greet!

Named for his striking fiery orange eyes, Fuego is a dog who brings warmth and excitement wherever he goes. His bright eyes perfectly match his personality: full of life, energy, and enthusiasm for every new day. Fuego is the definition of a happy-go-lucky dog. He's the kind of boy who wakes up excited to see what adventures await and approaches life with a joyful spirit that's impossible not to love. Whether he's exploring a new trail, spending time outdoors, or simply soaking up attention from his favorite people, Fuego is always ready to make the most of the moment. While he's grown out of the tiny puppy stage, Fuego still has plenty of youthful energy and a playful outlook on life. He loves being outside, stretching his legs, and discovering the world around him. His adventurous nature would make him the perfect companion for someone who enjoys hiking, walks, road trips, or any activity that gets them out and about. At the end of the day, Fuego's greatest gift is his zest for life. His happiness is contagious, and he has a way of making every adventure a little more fun. If you're looking for a loyal sidekick with a big smile, an adventurous spirit, and eyes that shine as brightly as his personality, Fuego is ready to light up your life.

Story
Tilly is mesmerizing with her icy blue eyes. This beautiful girl is 3 years old and 50 pounds. She is very smart. She would be great learning one of the many dog sports. She will make someone a great companion and she consistently "checks in" with her foster mom to see if anything is expected of her.  Tilly would thrive with an adopter who is "hands on". She is 1/3 border collie but also has small amounts of siberian husky/saint bernard/boxer/labrador retriever per her DNA results. A quiet home without small children would be ideal for her. Tilly is dog selective and it is unknown how she is with cats. She is crate and potty trained. Tilly is spayed, microchipped, current on vaccines and flea/tick/heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee is only $300.00. Please apply at gfrpets.org/apply/adoptdog/ ##1880121##

Story
Uno is a 1-year-old Heeler mix who weighs 33 pounds and is basically a bundle of happy, goofy energy. He’s the kind of dog who will happily follow his person around, find a toy to carry, settle in for some serious chewing, and then curl up in bed when the day is done. Uno is friendly, outgoing, adaptable, and incredibly loyal. He loves his people and wants to be right where they are. He’s also a big fan of playtime, especially fetch and playing with other dogs. His 80-pound canine foster brother is one of his favorite playmates, and the two of them can wear each other out before settling down for a nap together. Having another playful dog in his forever home would be a huge bonus for Uno, especially because having a canine friend seems to help him feel more comfortable when his people leave. This boy does have plenty of puppy energy left in him. He jumps up, sometimes nibbles when he gets excited, and thinks shoes are perfectly acceptable chew toys, so a home with older kids or teenagers would be the best fit. He’ll need plenty of appropriate things to chew and people who are ready to keep those tempting shoes safely out of reach. Uno is house trained, although he can occasionally have an accident while adjusting to a new routine. He’s accustomed to using a doggie door and currently has free run of the house rather than being crated. A fenced yard would be ideal for Uno because he loves to run, play, and burn off his puppy energy. That said, what matters most is finding him a home that will give him plenty of opportunities for exercise, play, and enrichment. Uno does well with dogs and he’s been friendly with everyone he's met. He’s okay with cats, although he’s more curious about them than respectful of their personal space. He may chase or bark at them because he thinks they want to play, so a dog-savvy cat who won’t mind his enthusiasm would be the better match. And then there’s Uno’s special talent: being an absolute goofball with a heart of gold. He’s playful, affectionate, silly, and happiest when he’s part of the action. If you’re looking for a fun-loving companion with a big personality in a portable package, Uno might be your guy. His minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
