Princess is a 4½-year-old, 52lb Australian Shepherd with the sweetest soul and a heart full of love just waiting to be shared. Formerly a breeder at a puppy mill, Princess is now discovering the joys of freedom, comfort, and affection—and she’s absolutely thriving.
With eyes that will melt your heart and a soft spot for belly rubs, Princess is as gentle and kind as they come. She loves trotting around the backyard, exploring new sights and smells, and soaking in all the good things life has to offer. While she can be a little shy and skittish at first, she quickly warms up with a calm, friendly voice—and once she does, she’s eager to snuggle and shower you with love.
Princess is working on leash training, loves off-leash play in a secure yard, and gets along wonderfully with our family dog who she loves to play with. She hasn’t met a blanket she doesn’t love, and she’ll gladly curl up beside you for a cozy nap or some one-on-one cuddle time. Her favorite activities include chasing her toys, getting praise, and soaking in all the affection she can get—her love languages are words of affirmation and physical touch.

All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals.
