Story
Hunter--SUCH A HAPPY FACE!!'s Story Hunter is an athletic, curious, and smart dog. He is independent and would do best in a home without other pets. Hunter is an adult dog, but he has had a rough start to life. He was very sick and barely alive when he was found by animal control, but he pulled through! Now he is ready to find a home where he can get lots of love and affection. Hunter is a strong and tough dog who has proven to be a survivor. He is stubborn and independent, but also very loving. He is looking for a home where he can be the only dog and receive lots of attention from his humans. If you think you could give Hunter the loving home he deserves, please contact the rescue organization to find out more about adopting him. To request an adoption application, or if you just have questions, EMAIL STORKWOODS@COMCAST.NET.

Story
Hello. Our names are Nadia (F), Kinsey (F), Nathan (M), and Skeeter (F). Our rescuer was told our mom was a Belgian Malinois and dad was a Border Collie. We were born on July 8, 2023. We were turned over to the rescue lady when we were babies. There were eight of us. Not long after arriving, we started to get sick. We four were and are the healthiest. When we were out playing in the yard, she often asked us where the babies went, who was sweet and shy. Who switched them out of your energizer bunnies, then laughed as we ran around like crazy kids? We are brilliant, treat motivated (easy to train), sulk when scolded, crate trained, shy at first but warm up quickly, not house or leash trained (quick learners), like cats, submissive to other dogs, and have never been around children. Our foster mom has commented how wonderful we would be on an agility course.  I want to go hiking, go to the beach, run around on snow deeper than I am tall, curl up with you in front of the fireplace, and watch a movie. I have only heard my foster mom talking about most of this stuff. If you have patience and teach me, I will love doing whatever you do. Please request an application to begin the adoption process at alittlelonger2home@gmail.com. Story
Hello, our names are Elle (f), Emma (f), Ember (f), Eden (f), Emmett (m), Eddie (m), Ethan (m), and Ely (m). We were born approximately on 02/06/2026. No one knows because mom had us around the Artic blast in a culvert. Some how our amazing skinny momma fed her babies, kept them warm & safe until we were found. Our foster mom is in love with our mom, Shadow. We will be ready to head to our furever homes after April 6, 2026. We are the silliest, happiest, funniest babies. We just love human contact, snuggling, and playmate. We are looking for families who want to go hiking, camping, to the beach or the lake. I have heard stories of going to the apple orchards, playing in the snow and getting a pup cup or a munchkin from Dunkin Donuts. Please request an application from alittlelonger2home@gmail.com to adopt me. I am ready to come home. Story
Meet Ryder, a sweet, happy-go-lucky puppy who is ready to leave his difficult beginnings behind and start the wonderful life he deserves. Ryder is part of a litter born to an incredible mama (picture included) who spent far too long living chained outside in a heartbreaking situation. Despite everything she endured, she kept her puppies safe and cared for them with unwavering devotion. After weeks of determined efforts, mama and her babies were finally brought to safety, where Roscoe has been thriving ever since.Like any young puppy, Ryder is full of curiosity, playful energy, and endless enthusiasm. He loves exploring the world around him, playing with his siblings, and discovering new adventures each day. He's affectionate, fun-loving, and has the kind of joyful spirit that will bring smiles to everyone around him.Ryder is looking for a forever family that understands puppies don't come fully trained—they need patience, consistency, socialization, and plenty of positive reinforcement as they learn the ropes. The time and love invested in him now will be rewarded with a lifetime of loyalty, companionship, and unconditional love.If you're ready to welcome a playful best friend into your home and enjoy all the fun that comes with raising a puppy, Ryder is waiting to meet you!Breed: Border Collie/American Staffordshire Terrier   (Breed Mix is not guaranteed - no DNA testing has been done)Age: 10 weeks as of 7/5/26Weight: 10 lbsSpayed/Neutered: Too young - Spay/Neuter Contract will be required and strictly enforced.Vaccinations: Appropriate rounds of puppy vaccines given; future vaccines are the responsibility of the adopter(s)Heartworm: Too young (testing is done at 6 months of age)Housetrained:  Not usuallyMicrochipped: YesLocation of dog currently:  TennesseePuppy Adoption Fee:  $600.00 (includes transport fee when applicable)                                  $100-150 additional mandatory quarantine fee applies to Massachusetts residents.Adoption Fee Includes:>A spay/neuter surgery rebate, paid to the adopter once proof of surgery is provided to Paws New England. Unless you are an experienced dog owner and your Adoption Coordinator is comfortable with your experience, you will be required to attend puppy training and/or behavior classes. This requirement benefits both you and your puppy by providing the tools and support to build a successful, lifelong relationship. Please Think Carefully Before Adopting a PuppyPuppies are adorable—but they are also a lot of work! Before applying, please consider whether you're ready for the commitment.~ Puppies cannot be crated for more than 3–4 hours at a time while they are young.~ Your home will need to be puppy-proofed.~ Puppies chew, scratch, nip, and have accidents while learning if you have young children, consider whether they are prepared for normal puppy behavior.~ Consistent training, socialization, exercise, and patience are essential.~ Most importantly, make sure you have the time and commitment a puppy deserves.Important Information: Paws New England is a foster-based rescue. Our dogs are cared for in foster homes throughout the South and New England.Your adoption donation helps cover veterinary care, transportation, and other expenses for your adopted dog. It also helps us continue to save senior dogs and dogs with serious medical needs or injuries.
