Lover of dogs, cats and kids, she would do well in nearly any home looking forward to continuing her training. She is a medium-energy pup, where she loves a good play session with other pups or toys but content with a bit of downtime. Trixie interacts well with dogs and would do well with or without a canine sibling. She has interacted well with dog-savvy cats down south so she’d do well with or without a feline sibling in the home. Because she loves to greet small and big humans alike, Trixie would do best with dog-savvy kids who can give her some time and space to get to know her after her initial excitement. She would thrive with some structure and boundaries in her new home as she adjusts to her new environment.Trixie is a smart gal who's eager to please. She is working on her crate training and mostly potty-trained. She is occasionally crated during the day and overnight. She may protest being in the crate at first but will improve with structure and time. Trixie will continue to master her potty training when taken out on a regular schedule and routine. She is working on her leash manners and would do best with an owner to provide her extra guidance when on walks.Trixie will bring you tons of laughter and joy to your home- is she the one for you? Please Note: All dogs are posted on our website until they are officially adopted. Story
Meet Alice, our darling brown and white girl that has the most memorable face and sky high ears you have ever seen.   This girl was born around the middle of May and is thought to be combination of lots of breed influences.   For starters we think that Cattle Dog and Aussie might be a mixture that are dominant for her.  She is one smart little girl that adorable her foster family and all the other big dogs (several German Shepherds are her mentors and big sisters) and many foster cats are present as well in the home.  Her boundless happy puppy energy catapults her through the days as she grows in to a true beauty inside and out.  She is so playful and loving and always ready for the next BIG ADVENTURE!  She loves to chase toys and explore the backyard for new things to do and maybe a few squirrels to make friends with.  She absorbs whatever you teach her like a sponge.  Her foster mom is an excellent trainer and knows the importance of teaching manners and commands.  Her friendly nature makes her easy to meet new people and she is does not shy away from new experiences either.  She is a snuggler when she is tired and very loving as she sits beside you to watch a good TV show.  This girl will be an excellent recall pup since she is learning that now and is so eager to please and be with her humans.  If you are interested in this beauty who will grow to be a 45-50 pound girl, please email Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com   Let us know where you live: city and state when you are inquiring. PLEASE NOTE:   Our dogs and cats are fostered in Tennessee and can transport weekly up to the Northeast region.  Request an application and learn more about Critter Cavalry at https://www.crittercavalry.com/adoption.January 2, 2025, 2:07 pm

Adoptable in: MA, RI, NH, CT, and VTGood with dogs: YesGood with cats: Unknown, likely yesGood with kids: Yes, dog-savvy childrenCrate trained: YesHouse Trained: YesRuby is a playful and affectionate pup with a curious spirit and a heart full of love! This sweet girl loves to explore her surroundings, always keeping a watchful eye on her people as she goes. She’s got a fun habit of collecting her favorite toys from around the house and bringing them to the couch—usually placing at least one right in your lap as a gift. After a play session, a stroll around the neighborhood, or some window-watching duty, she’s ready to curl up beside you for a well-earned nap, ideally with her head resting on your leg. While Ruby hasn’t met any cats yet, she’d likely do well with a confident feline who can help her learn the rules of the house—though a skittish cat might not appreciate her playful chase instincts. Because she loves meeting all humans, big and small, in the same manner, she would do best with dog-savvy children.Ruby is crate trained and settles quickly after a short moment of quiet. She does well crated for a few hours during the day and overnight. She’s fully house trained and currently working on improving her leash manners. She's eager to learn and food motivated, which will make her training a breeze with a little consistency and patience. If you’re looking for a fun-loving, loyal companion who’s always up for an adventure followed by snuggles, Ruby Piña could be the perfect match for your family! Please Note: All dogs currently available for adoption are posted on our website. If you cannot find a particular dog on our website, he/she may be on a temporary foster hold. All dogs are otherwise posted until they are officially adopted.
