Roughly 90% of our dogs are adopted prior to their transport up to MA and 10% are adopted locally.Meet Greta! Greta is approximately 7 months old,18 lb currently, and may have some Aussie in her mix. In her foster home, she is working hard on her house training, crate-training, and leash walking. She could join households with kids 10+, cats and other dogs.She can be a bit nervous at first and needs a few days to settle in before showing off her sweet and silly personality. She needs a home where people are around more often than not and can be committed to her continued positive reinforcement training. She is not a good candidate for apartment living and could benefit from a home with a fenced yard so she has a safe space to grow her confidence.Her foster says, `Greta is a great little pup. She is so sweet and loving. She loves being around people. She never meets a stranger. She will make someone a great little pup. Greta has been hoping and dreaming of her forever family. Story
Stella is a friendly and intelligent dog with plenty of energy. We want her to be happy and have a space where she can run around and play with other dogs. Previously, Stella lived in the mountains of Colorado, where she enjoyed a large fenced yard and had lots of friends to play with. Now, she is living in a townhouse without a yard, which has been challenging for her. As a very active young lady, she is currently feeling unhappy. Stella is a mix of Australian Cattle Dog, Husky, German Shepherd, and Golden Retriever, and she is expected to weigh around 30 pounds. She is a loving and eager-to-learn dog who picks up new skills quickly. Stella would be an amazing agility dog, as this would engage both her mind and her need for physical activity. If agility training isn't your interest, she would also thrive in an active lifestyle with an avid walker, hiker, or runner.  Stella is a very quick learner and was immediately fully potty trained.     To ensure the best for Stella, her new owners should have a yard or live on a farm, and it would be great if they have another dog and children.  Stella has plenty of energy to add playing at home to her list of activities.    Stella has been spayed and is current on all her shots until May 2026.  To be considered for her forever family and to request an application please contact Vivienne at vivienneajames@gmail.com.  APPROVED APPLICATION AND ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.  (Stella is currently in Tennessee and can be transported north upon adoption.)  March 7, 2026, 12:24 pm
