Roughly 90% of our dogs are adopted prior to their transport up to MA and 10% are adopted locally.Meet Danny! Danny is approximately 1.5 years old, 31 lbs currently and he is a mixed breed pup! He was found as a stray with his buddy Cole. In his foster home, he is working on hard on his house training, crate training, and leash walking skills. He could join households with older kiddos, possibly dog-savvy cats, and other dogs. No apartments, please! Danny is very high energy and needs an active family. His foster says, `Danny is an active young dog, still learning commands, walking on a leash, and going in his crate but he is very smart and picking it up fast. He loves to play fetch with his ball and can play with the kids for hours. Enjoys riding in the car and loves the outdoors. Loves going for walks and seeing new places. After exploring the house he settles in and likes snuggles on the coach and watch TV. He is friendly with our cat too.`He is available for adoption in N Dartmouth on October 8th or possibly earlier. Our family adopted TJ as a baby, we have worked diligently on training, caring and socializing him. During times of tighter schedules we had him in daycare and adult work led to some of his training being not as successful. Meaning - at times laundry gathering, or burying bones in the coach. Our schedule changed to provide him longer walks and more attention. That begun to improve his behavior. But with the change TJ started really claiming main care giver more then the 20 year old adult child. This looked like more playful, littermate activities with the 20 year old and TJ trying to lead the flock. The last month health became a factor where priorities begun to change. Where he is up to date on shots except distemper. We are so in love with him and would want a large yard, attentive family or solo care giver. He is playful with dogs but does need monitoring due to his desire to lead.

DOB 8-20-2023 Ralph is just a good boy, he gets along well with others, loves to run and play and is social. He is neutered, heartworm negative and has received a Proheart 6 injection. His adoption fee is 600.00, transport fee is 165.00. Our transport is HEARTS, they run every 2 weeks. The first step in the adoption process is to fill out an online adoption application. You can find a copy of that application here. We sometimes receive a lot of interest on an animal and can't always reply to each email in a timely manner. An application does not obligate you to adopt from us, but it does show that you are serious about the adoption process. Please remember we are all volunteers. After you submit your application please allow a few days for a volunteer to review your application. During this time your vet reference will be checked and a volunteer with determine if it is the best match for you and the animal. Applications are not approved on a first come, first serve basis. We match up the best home for the animal, so even if the pet has other applications, this does not mean he/she will be adopted to that home. Once your application has been approved a volunteer with contact you to set up a phone interview. This is the perfect time for you to ask any questions you have about the adoption process and the animal you are interested in.
