Story
Meet Frankie! 🐾 Frankie is a stunning black-and-white Australian Shepherd/Heeler mix with mesmerizing ice-blue eyes that will melt your heart. At just under 2 years old (his birthday is in December!), this handsome boy is the perfect mix of youthful energy and eager-to-please smarts. Frankie is a true working dog at heart — he loves having a job to do and would thrive in an active home where he can stretch his legs, explore, and put his mind to work. Whether it’s helping out on the farm, going for long hikes, or joining you for outdoor adventures, Frankie’s happiest when he has room to roam and play. He already knows his basic commands and is always ready to learn more — especially if treats or toys are involved! Frankie would do best with someone who appreciates his herding instincts and can give him the structure, space, and stimulation he deserves. If you’re looking for a loyal, intelligent companion who’s as hardworking as he is affectionate, Frankie might just be your perfect match. 💙

Story
Bear is a 4 year old Australian Shepherd who is incredibly smart, affectionate, and full of energy. He is the kind of dog who wants to be involved in everything you do and will happily soak up all the love and attention you can give. When his needs are met, he is a super cuddly companion who truly enjoys being close to his people. As an Australian Shepherd, Bear needs an active lifestyle and plenty of mental and physical outlets. He would thrive in a home with a securely fenced yard where he can run, play, and burn off energy, along with daily walks and ongoing engagement. An experienced, very active home that understands working breeds would be the best fit for him. Bear must go to a home with no kids. He does live with another dog. He does very well at daycare and boarding. On leash, he can be reactive and will bark at other dogs, as well as at the TV and out the window, so continued structure and guidance will help him succeed. Bear is looking for a committed home that can give him the exercise, enrichment, and affection he deserves. In return, he will give endless loyalty, cuddles, and companionship. Adoption fee is $350+tax, please apply at www.campcompanion.org

Story
Meet Theodore Roosevelt, better known as Teddy. Teddy is a one year old Australian Shepherd who is very much a classic example of the breed. He is intelligent, energetic, driven, and always looking for a job. Teddy is not a couch potato and will thrive in a home that understands the physical and mental needs of an Australian Shepherd. As a young dog, Teddy will need continued training, structure, and clear boundaries. He is smart and eager, but that intelligence means he needs guidance to channel his energy appropriately. Consistent training and enrichment will be key to helping Teddy become his best self. Teddy would do best in a home with prior Australian Shepherd or similar herding breed experience. An active household that enjoys training, outdoor activities, and providing mental stimulation will be essential for his success. He is not an ideal fit for a first time dog owner or a low activity home. With the right environment, Teddy has the potential to be an incredible companion for someone who appreciates the wonderful, challenging, and rewarding nature of the breed. Story
I have a 5 year old (as of Nov 2025) Australian Shepherd female dog. She was given to me for Christmas as a puppy when she was 10 weeks old (they bought her from a farm in Iowa for $600) but I have a difficult time finding care for her each month that I have drill for the National Guard and it has unfortunately been quite a burden on my life. I believe she’s ok with other animals as she has been at my sisters who has a dog and cat. Her dog and my dog get along well. She has had pet health insurance so she is all up to date on all vaccines and she is healthy and great weight. She would do great in a active setting. She knows basic commands such as sit, lay down, stay, shake. Please reach out if you are interested. I will be cautious in selection to make sure she’s cared for. Her kennel, toys, treats, extra food will all be included! I also had her DNA — she’s 90% Australian shepherded and 10% miniature Aussie Thank you very much. Location: Rochester, MN

Story
Hudson is a true Mini Aussie at heart. He is incredibly loyal and happiest when he has a job to do or a person to focus on. Once he trusts you, his devotion is unmatched and he will stick by your side with his whole heart. He loves going for walks and enjoys the calm one on one time this brings him. At home, Hudson takes his role as protector seriously. He will always let you know when someone is near the house, including delivery drivers and truck drivers. Even with his alert nature, his soft side shines through every day. His favorite moments are when he can snuggle close with his person for quiet affection. Hudson gets along well with most dogs and cats, though he prefers calmer animals who respect his signals. High energy dogs that push his boundaries are not a good match for him and no young children. Hudson is ready for someone who understands his breed, appreciates his loyalty, and can offer the steady home he thrives in. Adoption fee is $350+tax, please apply at www.campcompanion.org
