Story
Meet Rico, he is 8 years old and 35lbs.   His owner has cancer and can longer care for him so he is looking for a new place to love him through the next chapter of his life.  Rico is a handsome Aussie/Terrier mix of sorts! If he was a food order he would be ordered as one medium floof nugget, with a side of smiles- tail waggin sized, with all the dippin sauces of happiness. This guy has grins that just won‘t quit, loves him some car rides, enjoys being bribed with treats for tricks, isn’t much of a kisser, and relishes all the attention he deserves to receive.  Rico loves kids and loves to play tug with them or another dog.   Rico is easy to love, gets along great with dogs and and kids. He walks good on leash and is housebroken and crate trained. He is a true gentleman and is ready for that special person(s) to give him his well-deserved furever home. He is waiting to meet you! Neutered, heartworm tested, recent dental, vaccinated, microchipped, and ready for adoption!  He is hit and miss with cats so a calm cat that does not do much he would have less of an issue with.  An active cat that will hiss and get in his business is not a match.  To help pay for vet bills and care (transportation, food, toys, etc..) a $100 donation is requested at the time of adoption. All of our adoptions are contingent upon an approved application, home visit, reference check, obedience training agreement, and signing of adoption contract. All our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped before adoption. Our dogs are companion animals that live indoors as part of your family. Please do not apply if your plan is to have them as outside dogs, garage dogs, porch dogs or outside kennel dogs.  We do not ship dogs.   All of our dogs are in private foster homes. We are not a shelter with hours. A visit can be arranged after an adoption questionnaire has been filled out and sent in. Please try to email first. We are all volunteers that work so we can not easily take or make phone calls.March 8, 2026, 6:28 pm

Story
Meet Cyrus, born April 30, 2023, a one-of-a-kind mix of Staffordshire Terrier charm and Mini Australian Shepherd intelligence wrapped up in one very handsome package. At around 50 pounds, Cyrus is the perfect size for both adventure buddy duties and couch companion status. He has a thoughtful nature, a loyal heart, and just enough goofy personality to keep life entertaining.   Cyrus is potty trained, incredibly smart, and very motivated by snacks, which means he approaches learning with the enthusiasm of a straight-A student who also happens to accept payment in treats. He loves being included in everyday life, whether that means tagging along for errands, heading out for walks, or proudly showing off a new trick like he deserves a standing ovation afterward.   Though he may take a minute to fully settle in with new people, once Cyrus decides you are his person, that’s it — you suddenly have a very devoted shadow. Expect a loyal sidekick who follows you from room to room, supervises household activities with great seriousness, and believes personal space is mostly just a suggestion.   Beneath his playful personality is a deeply loving dog who simply wants connection and consistency. Cyrus is ready for the kind of forever home where he can keep learning, keep loving, and finally relax knowing he is exactly where he belongs.   The suggested adoption fee for Cyrus is $365. Bullies-N-Beyond ResQ is a non-profit corporation that is 100% volunteer operated. Adoption fees are the primary source of funding for the cost of veterinary care for our animals. All dogs adopted through BNBR are adopted with DHPP, Rabies, Lepto and Bordetella. All dogs will also be adopted out as already spayed or neutered if old enough, or a voucher will be provided once the dog becomes of age. The adoptions for all of our animals will take place in the Omaha, NE area and must be done by the adoptive family in person. We do not ship or deliver. BNBR does not adopt on a first serve basis. All available dogs are adopted based on their needs to provide the best fit home. ##1713591##

Story
I got Ms. Molly Mae from a farm in Arkansas when she was about 10 weeks old. She is now a little over 2 years old. I’d describe Molly as a playful, energetic, sweet, protective dog. She will get the zoomies & run around the yard but is also the best snuggle bug when it’s time to relax. She will follow you to the bathroom & around the house like your own body guard. She has been to public dog parks, has lived with other dogs & infants & currently lives with a 6 year old. My only concern is she doesn’t know her size sometimes & can get a little too hyper. She is potty trained & crate trained. She has been spayed & has had her first round of shots (I have records) but not up to date shots. I will make sure that is taken care of. Im rehoming her for personal reasons that have nothing to do with how amazing she is. I’m looking for someone to cherish her. Whether thats a family with kids & other dogs or a single owner I just want her happy & taken care of.

Story
Mazee is a 1 year old Australian shepherd mix. I've had her since she was 5 weeks old. Up until recently she was fine around other animals. We had left chicken bones in the trash along with another dog in the home and they starting fighting. Since then she has been kennel bound and thats not fair to her. Shes such a good dog but given the situation right now its not fair to her and it would be selfish of me to not rehome her to someone who can give her the best life and a back yard to run. She loves to run and play ball. She entertains herself but she loves attention and hugs.

Meet Rufus 🐾 | Aussie Mix Rufus is a charming Aussie mix with a heart of gold—he just needs a little time to show it. He can be shy at first and has a bit of stranger danger, but with patience and understanding, Rufus blossoms into a sweet, silly companion who loves to let his personality shine. Rufus has done well with other dogs, especially those who are more laid back with their play style. As always, a meet-and-greet with any resident dogs is recommended to make sure everyone’s a good match. Rufus is looking for someone willing to give him a chance and a little patience—and he’ll reward you with loyalty, laughs, and love. If you think Rufus could be the right fit for your home, come meet him today! 🐾

🐾 MEET CHARLIE 🐾 - 4 year old female standard Blue Merle Aussie - She is not spayed but she is house broke - She LOVES to play ball and she loves people - Her ideal home will provide love, attention, room to run, and plenty of time to play ball - She is trained on a hidden fence system and she is leash trained - She loves to play with other dogs but she would do best in a home with no other dogs as she resource guards with other small dogs in her current home

Story
Hey all, this is Archer. He is a 3 year old purebread Border Collie, great with our kids and other dog. We also have a Cat, and while Archer has never been aggressive of any kind, he has a strong herding instinct and will follow the cat around the house. We're looking to find him a new home for a few reasons, primarily we want our cat to be able to relax in the house more and not be followed so much, but we also want Archer to have a more active lifestyle. Ideally we could find him a home that has some wide outdoor space so he could run and play, and if he was given a job to do he would love it. We want to find Archer a great home with a more active lifestyle for him, so if you have any questions please let us know.

Story
Lucy is three years old and a very sweet dog at her core. She is extremely intelligent, so much so we can play hide and seek in our whole house and she’s capable of finding us. With that intelligence comes a lot of anxiety and her breed is a mix of Border Collie, Australian Shepherd, German Shepherd and a little bit of Boxer.Because of her herding instincts, she is a little unpredictable around small children and infants. We have a 2 year old and another on the way, and it’s concerning enough to rehome. She’s never bitten or lunged at a child, but she puppy guards food and hates being approached when laying down.Despite this she loves to snuggle and climb into bed with us. We believe, with the right home, enough exercise and lots of love, she will continue to be an excellent addition to a family!

Story
Winston - Deaf Dogs Hear with Their Hearts Hello world I'm Winston....please don't mind me as I practice my sign language! You see, I'm hearing impaired, but I am super smart so I use hand signs to communicate! I have been waiting a while for my perfect home, but I will be a great companion once I find the right match. I will need SEVERAL MEETS before adoption, as I am people selective and it takes me a bit to get to know and trust someone. I'm a two year old who is a happy, handsome fella with gorgeous baby blues and would love to be someone's one and only. Once I trust them, I'd love for them to take me on walks/runs, play fetch, toss me toys, snuggle with me and teach me new commands! I do have a few requirements, though: I NEED A FENCED IN YARD, AN EXPERIENCED OWNER AND MUST BE AN ONLY DOG. So, if you have enough time, patience, dogs skills and can go slow with me, I will learn to trust you and be your loyal forever boy. No apartments please! Also, small children make me really nervous as I can't hear them so teenagers and adults only. I also prefer a house that won't be active with too many strangers coming and going but am crate trained, if needed. I currently living with a trainer and she loves me so much that she will provide continued training help for my whole life! I haven't had many good experiences in my life yet, so I'd love to be your loyal best new friend, if you have time to devote to me! Want to meet me and see how amazing we can be together? Please apply at www.nalarescue.org to adopt or for more information. All shots, boosters, rabies, spay/neuter, and microchip is included in NALA Rescue's Adoption donation fee. All meets are scheduled by appointment only once an application is approved. Please apply at www.nalarescue.org and if approved we will reach out to the applicant and answer all questions. All dogs/puppies are available until they are removed from this site so please no inquires if a dog is available.
