She has not been around cats, so we are not able to know if she is good with them. She is house broken, leash trained and knows basic commands. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, dewormed and has been to the vet recently for her check up. She is hoping to find a home sooner then later. Cocoa Puffs is a 6 year old Miniature Australian Shepherd. She’s a pandemic puppy and is not socialized around cats, dogs and children. She is a little bit of “Nervous Nelly” when she’s around new people or unfamiliar environment. Cocoa Puffs has resource guarding issues. If she thinks you are trying to take something away from her, she will try to bite you. This does not happen on a daily basis, but it can be unpredictable. The best method while dealing with resource guarding is to give Cocoa Puffs something more of a high value treat to trade off whatever item she thinks she needs to guard. This has worked with me. More details will be provided upon contact. Cocoa Puffs is very smart. She knows the name of all her toys. She is good at doing tricks, like sit pretty, roll over, crawl, spin right/left, go through legs, etc. Of course more training can be done :) no shame in that Cocoa Puffs loves to cuddle on her own terms. She bites onBarkBox bones and eats Farmer’s Dog diet
