Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.wagoninn.rescuegroups.org Jersey Girl (aka Jersey or Six) is a beautiful girl who is in a foster home here in NJ. Jersey Girl and her sister, Birdie were surrendered to Wag On Inn Rescue so they could find their forever home. They are the result of an accidental litter. Their mom is an Australian Shepherd and dad is a pit bull terrier. Jersey Girl is sweet, silly and goofy! She loves to play ball. She's nervous with new people, and in new surroundings, but she loves her foster family and is doing well with the resident dogs. This beautful and sweet girl needs some love and confidence building. Jersey's foster is working on perfecting her housetraining and other training basics. Jersey is dog friendly. She may be too nervous for little kids. She is crate trained. Jersey Girl received initial vaccines and tested negative for heartworm. We are working on scheduling her spay and microchip at the Spay-Neuter Clinic in Holmdel, NJ. Her adoption fee is $450.  Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training   prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.   How to Adopt Me! If you are interested in learning more about me, and possibly making me part of your family, please go to    wagoninn.rescuegroups.org   . Click on the orange Online Adoption Application button to fill out an application. A Wag On Inn volunteer will be in touch soon! Story
Stellar Stella is waiting for her future best friend to walk in. At 8 years old, this Australian Shepherd will play all day and all night- a toy aficionado to say the least. She'll have some butterflies in her stomach at first meeting, but after the first date jitters she'll be your girl. An active home with older, respectful humans that can keep up would be pawfect. Ready for the time of your life with stunning Stella? The Monmouth County SPCA is open for walk-ins every day, starting at noon!

Story
Maisie (black) and Tallulah (salt and pepper) are mini Ausidoodles so they don't shed. They were purchased in PA 2 years ago. They are peepee pad trained. They are UTD have never bitten anyone. They do bark a lot. They are the sweetest dogs, they love attention and playing. I am ONLY looking to rehome them because I am just not home enough and my kids don't play with them like they should. They are so lovable and just have a lot of energy. I love them and will keep them unless the perfect home becomes available. I just feel bad that they don't get the attention they need :( They are 16 and 20 lbs. Love people, play with my cat and are really good with kids. They get along with other dogs when we go on walks or go to the dog park but we have never had another dog in our house so idk about that. They love cuddles and being rubbed. They are a pair. They are bonded and from the same littler. I will not remove them separately. They stay very close to each other even on walks.

Story
This is Tess. She is a 3 year old aussie mix and is being returned due to divorce. She is very sweet with other humans, but is not the best with other dogs or kids. She has not been around cats, so we are not able to know if she is good with them. She is house broken, leash trained and knows basic commands. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, dewormed and has been to the vet recently for her check up. She is hoping to find a home sooner then later. She is looking for a home to fit her needs. Please apply if you think you do.

Story
Meet Ranger! Ranger is a 5-month-old, 27-lb Mini Aussie with beautiful green eyes and a thick coat of fur who cherishes playful times and enjoys being around kids. This friendly pup is currently in the teething phase but doesn't let that dampen his spirits. His superpowers include being clever and starting to learn commands, such as "sit." Ranger loves all people, especially kids, and is playful and full of energy. His adventurous spirit means he's always ready for a trip to the park or any new adventure. When it comes to house training, Ranger is quick on the uptake, showing promising signs of mastering it with consistency and patience. He's eager to please and thrives on positive reinforcement for his achievements. Some of his favorite things include his chew toys that keep him busy during his teething phase, food puzzles that stimulate his clever mind, and any activity that lets him burn off his energy. If you're looking for a playful companion who adores children, offers enthusiastic greetings with wagging tail every time you come home, and enjoys affection, Ranger might just be your perfect match. Ranger is currently enjoying life and awaiting his forever home in Staten Island, NY. His adoption fee is $800. Ranger is a Patron Pup. Patron Pups have higher adoption fees due to varying reasons and are adopted quickly, even with these higher adoption fees. They may be purebred, a highly desirable breed, small in size fully grown, etc. These fees allow them to act as patrons to other pets in our care who may not be as adoptable, or have ongoing costs for medical care, contributing to a longer time in rescue, and therefore a higher cost for us to care for them. Patron Pups allow us to continue rescuing these other animals and give them a better chance at finding their forever homes as well. To adopt this animal, please visit https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt All of our animals come spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, are microchipped, heartworm negative, current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention, dewormed, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services, and makes it possible for us to continue rescuing animals. For more information on the adoption fees and the adoption process, please complete our adoption application here: https://www.louieslegacy.org/adopt - an application allows us to get to know your family better so we can assess whether the animal you are interested in is a good match for your home. An application does not obligate you to adopt. Please understand that due to the volume of applications some animals receive, we are unable to contact all applicants. If your application is considered a good fit for the animal you are interested in, or even a different pet, a volunteer will give you a call as soon as possible. We are a foster based rescue and do not have a shelter location where animals can be seen during the week. Please see our Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/LouiesLegacy for our weekly adoption album if you are interested in meeting an animal in person. Not all animals attend every adoption event, please check our Facebook page for animal event times and locations before you make a trip to meet a specific animal.
