Hi! My name is Scout and I am looking for a forever home. My owner loved me a lot and when he was deployed and could not find anyone to take me, he contacted a small local rescue about helping him. A volunteer with that rescue contacted BCAA to see if they could help and they said yes! I am what is known as a red aussie and I'm about 18mos old and weight right about 55lbs. I'm a super smart boy and my previous owner had started doing some training with me (sit, down, stay), all of which will need to be reinforced but I'm up for the challenge if you are (especially if treats are involved!). I can be a little picky about who I like so a meet-n-greet would need to be done if you have another dog, but I have ignored those things called cats as they don't interest me at all. I have done really good in my crate without any accidents, barking or tearing up of any bedding, and I go right into when asked, turn around and wait for you to give me a treat. I am pretty good on leash but do pull some in my excitement on being out with you and going on an adventure. I am an active boy and my ideal home is one where I can be given a job, even if it's keeping you in shape with walking and hiking (my foster mom says I would probably be great at agility). Willow is currently just over 3 months old, guessing Australian Shepherd / German Shepherd Mix. She will likely be a medium / large sized dog when full grown. She is currently 20 lbs and growing. She loves playing with other dogs and her foster friends and is working on potty training. Up to date on all shots, spayed and microchipped. Willow is located in middle TN, but not to worry her transport is included in the adoption fee with Rescue Riders Transport to one of their delivery locations. This boy was brought back because he was too much of a puppy who chewed because he was left alone and bored. So he is on the hunt for a family who will understand his needs and keep him busy!! He has a lot of energy and playing is his thing. He likes to play with other dogs, chew on toys and run run run. He does fine with kids, will have to learn about cats. He will need some work on housetraining and leashes. He is a bit stubborn when learning manners so will need a family who can work with that. A routine that occupies his time would also be a plus as that works with his breed mix. He is a sweet boy that has a wonderfully fun personality who just wants to live to the fullest. He needs a life full of adventures and activities and we know that family is out there for him. Dax is being fostered in TN but no worries because we use the most animal-friendly transport on the road. Rescue Riders Pet Transport. They transport every weekend alternating between the Northeast and the Midwest.

East Tn and out of state is welcome! These pups are being fostered in the South but transport to a location near you is included in your adoption fee listed under adopt a pet m. We use Rescue Riders Pet Transport, (www.rescueridersllc.net), the most animal-friendly transport on the road. Meet the flower puppies. We have three boys and four little girls. They have had their first round of shots yesterday. They will be getting dewormed and microchipped this weekend. We need to make an appt to have them spayed and neutered in a few weeks. We will be accepting pre adoption applications for them shortly at petpath.org. Our puppy adoption fee is 350 and with that they will be vaccinated at least two puppy vaccines, bordetella vaccine, rabies if of age, microchipped and spay or neutered. They will come with a toy box, a couple of toys, leash, collar and a brand new bed (items not available of utilizing transport company) We are told they may be about 8-9 weeks old now. The momma dog passed away and the finders are uncertain why. She was malnourished emaciated and just passed away. She was found with these puppies under a shed. The property owners moved and left the momma dog. The finder was paid to move the shed and found them and couldn’t leave them there. They fed and took care of them for three weeks. We are thankful they have a heart and helped this little family. Now it’s our turn to help get their vaccines and spay and neutered and them find amazing homes. Apply at petpath.org

My name is Caring Carrie and I am a 15 month old Aussie/Lab mix girl that weighs 35 pounds of pure sweetness. My luck has not gone well with getting adopted. I have had two families that adopted me and one had to bring me back because the little girl was allergic and then another family took me home for a few weeks and their grandmother had a stroke and she had to come live with the family and they decided that a puppy would be too much if they were taking care of a special needs senior Grandmother. So, for medical reasons I have lost TWO homes in a short time of my young life. I am housebroken, crate trained and I am very loving and sweet. I am a 45 pound girl and I a love playing soccer with the older kids. I am athletic and smart and I love my family. I am not a dog that enjoys lots of new people arriving in my world. I love my family and friends but I am not a girl that enjoys dog parks nor lots of strange people that I am supposed to meet and greet every day. I am devoted and loving and special. I have a new smile to give you and a tail wag and a devotion that is only for you. I am just not a cheerleader out there vying for the vote of Miss Congeniality with everyone. I love to pick and choose who I am best friends with. I am very submissive and playful and really hoping that the “third time is the charm” adoption for me. Pay no attention to breed here….Ms. Beary is a mix of so many breeds - we stopped counting at 15 breeds so we just say she the best of ALL the breeds! Ms. Beary Berries is 75 lbs, and about 5 years old. She is crate trained and house-trained. She also walks well on the leash. She is great with people and with children. Beary is very bonded to her daughter, Blue Berries however she is dog selective otherwise. She tends to be an Alpha and her reaction to other dogs depends more on their dominance. For this reason it would be best if the Berries were the only two dogs in their home. Ms. Beary is part of a bonded pair so she will need to stick her with her daughter Blue Berry. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed.
