Raised in a loving foster home, she is sweet, cuddly, and already showing how smart and devoted she will be as a companion. She is currently located in Alabama, with transport available to approved adopters throughout the Midwest, Northeast, and many points in between. Born in our care on January 5th, she has been surrounded by love from day one and it truly shows. Shepherd is affectionate, intelligent, and already showing signs of being a loyal, people-focused companion. She’s the kind of pup who will happily romp around and play, then settle in for cuddles when it’s time to relax. With her smarts and eagerness to connect, Shepherd will thrive in a home ready to continue her training and give her plenty of love and engagement. At the time of adoption, Shepherd will be spayed, up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, and microchipped. This handsome fellow and his siblings came in to rescue last winter after they were dumped on a back country road. Their mother was found deceased, so we took the puppies in to try to save them. They were very sick initially but are very healthy now. Big boy is a gentle boy but does love to run and play with other dogs. Big boy was the largest of the puppies, but his siblings have caught up to him. He has done amazing with his house and crate training. He is so deserving of a wonderful home to call his own. He is fostered in East TN, but transportation is included in the adoption fee and provided by Rescue Riders LLC. Please let me know if you have any questions. Hi! My name is Sid and I am looking at a forever home. I was picked up as a stray by Animal Control and taken to a really scary place called a shelter where I was in danger of landing on the euthanization list. A small local rescue pulled me just in time ,and then a volunteer with them contacted BCAA to see if they could help me and they said yes ... yeah! While I don't have the longer hair of an Australian Shepherd, I do have the markings and beautiful blue eyes that you will find in a lot of aussies as my coat is what folks refer to as a red merle. I am about 18mos old and weigh a little under 28lbs and won't get any bigger (unless I can con you out of lots of treats which I love!). Things I love: belly rubs, treats, being with you, running and playing with my dog friends. I have gotten along wth all of the other dogs I have met and haven't bothered those things called cats. I have done really well in my crate without any accidents as long as I get out regularly, no barking or or tearing up of any bedding although I would really prefer to be out and about with you. Introducing Jaxx, a delightful bundle of joy who is just 5 to 6 months old and weighs 18 pounds. Jaxx’s journey began with heartbreak—found on the roadside nearly lifeless, covered in mange and missing all his hair. Our poor starving, sweet boy was very, very sick and we were not sure he was going to recover. But recover he absolutely did!!! You can see how much he improved over time by watching his video and comparing it to current pictures. Thank you, kind rescuer.  Jaxx is now bursting with playful energy and love for all his furry friends and humans alike. He is not completely house trained but is doing so well. He is a bright boy! Jaxx’s happiness shines brightest when he’s surrounded by those who care. He would absolutely blossom in a family that enjoys walks, adventures, and sharing active moments together.  Though Jaxx’s start in life was an extremely tough one —Jaxx’s spirit never faded. Today, he’s fluffy, incredibly soft, and irresistibly sweet, ready to shower his forever family with cuddles, love, and boundless affection. This amazing survivor is full of so much joy and fun. It’s as if he is making up for his brush with death and is now going to enjoy and love every minute and everyone!
