This handsome fellow and his siblings came in to rescue last winter after they were dumped on a back country road. Their mother was found deceased, so we took the puppies in to try to save them. They were very sick initially but are very healthy now. Big boy is a gentle boy but does love to run and play with other dogs. Big boy was the largest of the puppies, but his siblings have caught up to him. He has done amazing with his house and crate training. He is so deserving of a wonderful home to call his own. He is fostered in East TN, but transportation is included in the adoption fee and provided by Rescue Riders LLC. Please let me know if you have any questions. I am looking to rehome my 5-year-old neutered Australian Shepherd. He is energetic, intelligent, loyal, playful, and affectionate. He is healthy, up to date on vaccinations, and not aggressive toward strangers or other dogs (though he can be shy or reactive in the first instance depending on the circumstance). He would do best with a good owner who understands herding breeds and can provide a safe and loving home. In certain situations, he will nip at legs indoors, which is consistent herding behavior. He is very food-driven and responds well to positive reinforcement.

We got Lola back at the end of 2019 as a puppy she was crazy lovable and protective of the kids. She has high energy and loves to run around outside and play she will bark at anyone she sees and run around. Lola needs someone who has the time and space to give her the love she deserves. We are moving and the landlord does not allow big dogs and we no longer will have the space or time to give her what she deserves. We have a cat that she chases around but when she was used to him they were fine. She is great with our kids but needs time to warm up and get to know other kids that she hasn’t met before.
