Hi! My name is Sid and I am looking at a forever home. I was picked up as a stray by Animal Control and taken to a really scary place called a shelter where I was in danger of landing on the euthanization list. A small local rescue pulled me just in time ,and then a volunteer with them contacted BCAA to see if they could help me and they said yes ... yeah! While I don't have the longer hair of an Australian Shepherd, I do have the markings and beautiful blue eyes that you will find in a lot of aussies as my coat is what folks refer to as a red merle. I am about 18mos old and weigh a little under 28lbs and won't get any bigger (unless I can con you out of lots of treats which I love!). Things I love: belly rubs, treats, being with you, running and playing with my dog friends. I have gotten along wth all of the other dogs I have met and haven't bothered those things called cats. I have done really well in my crate without any accidents as long as I get out regularly, no barking or or tearing up of any bedding although I would really prefer to be out and about with you. Introducing Jaxx, a delightful bundle of joy who is just 5 to 6 months old and weighs 18 pounds. Jaxx’s journey began with heartbreak—found on the roadside nearly lifeless, covered in mange and missing all his hair. Our poor starving, sweet boy was very, very sick and we were not sure he was going to recover. But recover he absolutely did!!! You can see how much he improved over time by watching his video and comparing it to current pictures. Thank you, kind rescuer.  Jaxx is now bursting with playful energy and love for all his furry friends and humans alike. He is not completely house trained but is doing so well. He is a bright boy! Jaxx’s happiness shines brightest when he’s surrounded by those who care. He would absolutely blossom in a family that enjoys walks, adventures, and sharing active moments together.  Though Jaxx’s start in life was an extremely tough one —Jaxx’s spirit never faded. Today, he’s fluffy, incredibly soft, and irresistibly sweet, ready to shower his forever family with cuddles, love, and boundless affection. This amazing survivor is full of so much joy and fun. It’s as if he is making up for his brush with death and is now going to enjoy and love every minute and everyone!

THIS IS A COURTESY POST - NOT A PET RESQ DOG. PLEASE CONTACT OWNER FOR MORE INFORMATION. Romeo is a five year old Australian Shepard. He’s a happy boy, healthy, and up to date on all his vaccines. He loves to play fetch and run around. He is good with other dogs and kids. He has not been around cats so unsure of that. He is very smart (As Australia Shepherds are) and listens to commands like ‘Paw’ ‘Sit’ and he turns 360 degrees if you motion a turn. He loves frozen peas and also enjoys eggs very much. He’s not much of a barker, but once in a while when he does, he understands and listens if you tell him not to bark if someone is sleeping. He’s super playful and is very happy when people come over. He’s also content on his own, and doesn’t have any type of separation anxiety. He’s a beautiful dog, weighs about 50 pounds. Romeo has one blue eye, and one brown eye.
