This is Tess. She is a 3 year old aussie mix and is being returned due to divorce. She is very sweet with other humans, but is not the best with other dogs or kids. She has not been around cats, so we are not able to know if she is good with them. She is house broken, leash trained and knows basic commands. She is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, dewormed and has been to the vet recently for her check up. She is hoping to find a home sooner then later. She’s the kind of dog who loves to explore the world with you and then happily curl up on the couch when it’s time to relax. True to her Aussie roots, Elysia is smart, curious, and very aware of her surroundings. She enjoys playtime, being silly, and showing off her fun personality, but she also loves giving kisses and settling in close to her people. She would thrive with a family who enjoys being active and spending time outdoors, whether that’s walks, adventures, or playtime together. On leash, Elysia does well overall and may tug a bit when she’s excited or interested in something new, something that will continue to improve with consistency and practice. She’s friendly and social when meeting other dogs and enjoys canine companionship. Elysia is mostly housetrained and will do best with a structured routine of regular walks and outings to help her continue building good habits. When it comes to cats, Elysia is still learning boundaries. Kirael is a 4-month-old, 18 lb Aussie mix who absolutely loves kisses, cuddles, and being close to his people. His superpowers include being a fast learner—he mastered “sit” on his very first day in foster care! All he truly wants is to be near you. He’s still a little unsure about approaching new people, but he’s making great progress. On walks, he happily sniffs people as they pass, and once they pet him, he’s totally fine.
