Story
Hi! My name is Donut! Cute, huh? I was born on June 14, 2022. I was adopted from Heart of the Foothills as a puppy, but then ended up at the animal shelter in another county. The shelter contacted Heart since they were listed on my microchip. They were not able to ever reach my adoptive parents, so I went back to Heart and have been there ever since.I'm an Australian Shepherd, so I'm very sweet, but also very high energy. My very favorite thing to do is run around outside. I could run forever! I'd really love a home with a fenced in yard to help keep me safe while I explore and play. I also really love my swimming pool!I'm a very smart guy; I know several commands. I am friendly with other dogs, so if you already have a pup, I'd love to make friends with them! I would do best in an active household with older children. I'm still a young dog, so sometimes I don't understand my strength. I'm very friendly, but I may be a little much for a small child. I currently weigh about 50 pounds; I shouldn't get too much bigger, no more than about 60.I'd really love a home of my own with my very own forever family. If you're looking for a new best friend, please give me a chance! If you are interested in adopting this animal please fill out an application at heartofthefoothills.org/adopt. This is a courtesy post. Please do not contact Heart of the Foothills Animal Rescue for information. Contact information is provided in the description below.Lucy is a two-year old Australian Shepherd mix. She is very submissive and has had professional training. She is crate trained and is super snuggly. She gets along great with kids and other dogs. Lucy has zero aggressiveness in her. The owner needs to rehome her because the fence needs repairing and cannot contain her. SHe will need a home with a privacy fence or someone who can walk her regularly. If you are interested in Lucy, please email theresa@anchoringwithin.com

Story
super sweet 3 year old Australian shepherd. Preferably someone with previous experience with dogs as it did take him a few days to adjust to his new environment. However, he is very, very sweet! We believe he just needs a stable home with a family willing to give him the love he needs. Also would be better for an active family with a yard. He is microchipped and up to date on on vaccinations! He just doesn’t get along with our current dog
