She's full of energy, running circles around us in the play yards, trying to make friends through the fence and jumping up to give love nips. She got to meet with some other dogs recently and she stayed very clam and let them set the rules. It seems like an older doggy sibling might be a great thing for this energetic pup. We believe that Irwin is ready to find a home with someone or a family experienced with Border Collies, Aussies or another herding breed. Irwin has lots of energy and needs to have a purpose, a job or anything that keeps him busy. Irwin would not do well with apartment living. He needs his space to be Irwin. Irwin is VERY selective on the dogs he likes and will not do well in a home with cats. This is my sweet boy, Ranger. ❤️ He is 2 years old and is an Australian Shepherd/American Bulldog mix. I’ve had him since he was a puppy, and he truly is the sweetest boy in the world. Unfortunately, due to our increasingly busy schedules, we’ve made the heartbreaking decision to find Ranger a new home where he can get the time, attention, and love he deserves. Ranger and his brother don’t always get along well due to littermate syndrome, which is another reason we feel finding Ranger his own home would be best for him. Outside of his relationship with his brother, he has done well with other dogs and has done well around other animals while at the park. I’ve contacted shelters in the area, but they are full, and I’m feeling stuck and heartbroken. I want nothing more than to find Ranger a loving, responsible family who will give him the world.
