Story
Maverick is a lover and full of energy. He's great at his job as a herder, but we don't have the time or space for it that he needs. His breed "nips" which we were unaware of before purchasing him. He loves to play with our toddler, but sometimes the hair pulling causes him to nip.

Story
Meet StingSting is a 45 year old Australian Shepherd mix weighing about 64 pounds who is quietly learning that life can be kind. He came to us from a hoarding situation, and while he has already made wonderful progress, the world is still a new and sometimes overwhelming place for him.Sting is a shy, timid boy with an incredibly sweet nature. Everyone who meets him says the same thing this dog doesnt have a mean bone in his body. He simply needs a little time and patience to feel safe and understand what it means to be part of a family.Because of his background, Sting is still figuring out how to be a dog. One thing weve already learned about him though he absolutely loves the ladies! He takes comfort in gentle voices and calm companionship. We believe Sting would thrive in a home with a confident, friendly dog who can help show him the ropes and give him reassurance as he continues to blossom. The best part about dogs like Sting is what happens once they learn to trust. When you earn his heart, youll gain a deeply loyal companion who will quietly adore his person.Sting is already crate trained and potty trained, and hes ready to continue his journey in a patient home that understands that the most special dogs sometimes just need a little extra time.A confident dog in the home is a must for Stings success. He is currently available for foster or foster-to-adopt, giving someone the chance to help this sweet boy continue discovering how good life can be. Apply at www.caninecollective.org.

Story
Loki is a very active and fun dog. And knows basic commands; hard for him to sit long. He is way to playful for our 9yr pug and 15 yr okd cat. My son wanted Loki, but ended up not having time to really spend with him. We have tried having him in our home, but just to crazy with our older animals. We have taken him to a dog park and hasn't done well there, but better training maybe be OK. He did take a few months to get use to us. He is crate trained, but we use it when we are not at home, because he does like to find things to tear up. He sleeps on our bed at night and does well through the night. Overall, he is a good dog, just needs someone that is active and can doing better training with him. He loves to play ball, makes good ice breaker to get to know him.
