Luna is a 1.5 years old and is a great dog, but very skiddish and we haven’t been able to break her of that with others. She is very loving and sweet once she’s warm up to you. She hasn’t been great around children (barking no biting). Overall a great dog but we have too many nieces and nephews around and don’t feel it’s fair to have to lock her up when guests are over. With the right family she could be the perfect dog 😀

Story

Riley is an adorable, sweet puppy that was found running loose in rural Kentucky. He and his brother, Waldo, were transported to Columbus to be fostered by Pet Promise. We are guessing he’s about 10-12 weeks old and weighs about 10 pounds. Because we don’t know the size or breed of his parents, we can’t be sure how big he will get, but we would guess 30-50 pounds. By their looks, we are guessing he is an Aussie/Shepherd Mix. He probably was raised outside because he’s doing outstandingly on house breaking. Riley is a typical happy, playful puppy. He is very sweet and loves people, especially when he’s in your lap and being pet! He likes kids and other dogs. We can really see Riley doing well growing up in just about any family environment. He would be a wonderful addition for an active family who can give him lots of exercise and enrichment to help him be the best pup he can be! He is a smart boy and is showing progress each day learning a lot! He is working on his puppy commands and manners. He will need a patient, consistent family to continue his training. He will ready for puppy classes when he is adopted and fully vaccinated. We HIGHLY encourage obedience/behavior training for all of our pups once adopted into their forever homes. Murphy came in with his brother Mack. Both are sweet, loving, mid- to high-energy boys. Murphy started out more independent than his brother and still probably is a bit, but he also seeks out attention from time to time and can be very affectionate. Murphy looks more like pure Aussie than his brother, but he may still be mixed. We'd love Murphy and Mack to be adopted together.
