Story
Bailey was the only dog of an elderly couple for 8 years. She was born deaf. She was raised running around three fenced acres and did not have much training. Since 2021, both of her owners have passed away and she has been living with the owner’s granddaughter for the past year. Bailey seems to go through phases where she cannot get along with the granddaughter’s dog. Bailey spent several weeks at a board-and-train program in the last year and she has learned hand signals. She is responsive to an e-collar. She is fine on a leash - enjoys walks. Ideally she would be placed in a single-dog home with a large yard to run. Bailey is house trained, crate trained and learns quickly. She has been aggressive toward other dogs and people when in crowded, overwhelming situations. She would love a place to run.

🍎 McIntosh, Fuji & Ambrosia 🍎 Australian Shepherd / Terrier Mix 7 weeks old | Mom is 40 lbs | Pre-Adoption Open Meet our little fruit basket of love — McIntosh, Fuji, and Ambrosia! These sweet 7-week-old Australian Shepherd/Terrier mix pups are getting ready to find their forever homes through pre-adoption. Their mama is a beautiful 40-lb girl, so we expect these babies to grow into wonderful medium-sized companions — likely in the 30–45 lb range once full grown. At this age they are: 🐾 Playful and curious 🐾 Learning about the world every day 🐾 Snuggly and people-oriented 🐾 Working on early social skills They’ll thrive in homes ready for: • Puppy training and patience • Continued socialization • Playtime and structure • Lots of love (and maybe some backyard zoomies!) These babies won’t be ready to go home just yet, but pre-adoption gives you the chance to reserve your favorite and be part of their journey from the start. WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org Meet Pixel – the Sweetest Soul with the Coolest Eyes in Texas! Pixel is a 2-year-old, 42-lb Australian Shepherd/Kelpie mix with a uniquely colored coat that makes her as beautiful outside as she is inside! She’s gentle, easygoing, and about as drama-free as they come. If dogs had a “Most Likely to Be Everyone’s Favorite” award, Pixel would win it paws down. This lovely girl gets along beautifully with just about everyone—people, dogs, kids, new situations—you name it. She’s calm, confident, and refreshingly mellow for an Aussie mix. Think less “whirling devilish herding machine” and more “professional couch companion with occasional zoomies.” And let’s talk about those eyes! Pixel has one stunning blue eye and one soulful brown eye. According to urban legend, that means she can see things in heaven and on earth at the same time. Pretty cool superpower, right? Basically, she’s part dog, part magical guardian angel. Pixel also comes fully loaded with excellent house manners: • Crate trained ✔ • Housebroken with a dog door ✔ • Walks beautifully on leash ✔ • Polite, well-behaved house guest ✔ • Expert at giving soft, grateful looks ✔ She enjoys relaxed strolls, cozy naps, and being near her people. She’s the kind of dog who fits seamlessly into your life like she’s always been there. Now, cats are a hard no, sorry cat lovers, she’s not a fan (she believes they are tiny, suspicious aliens), so a feline-free home is a must. But with dogs and humans? She’s an absolute dream. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving, go-with-the-flow companion who will make every day brighter just by existing in it, Pixel is ready to be your girl. Apply today and let this two-toned-eyed sweetheart see straight into your heart 💙🤎🐾

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 💕🐾 Meet Your New Favorite Little Lady — Sweet, Social & Slightly Silly 🐾💕 4 Months Old • 15 lbs • Female • Professional Treat Taker At just 4 months old and 15 pounds, this darling girl is the perfect pocket-sized blend of sweetness and puppy charm. While she may have some Border Collie in her background, she skipped the “caffeinated squirrel” setting and went straight for the gentle, laid-back option. Think more “thoughtful observer” than “chaos coordinator.” 😉 She is super loving, wonderfully gentle, and already knows how to take treats politely — which in puppy terms is basically earning an honorary PhD. She’s smart, attentive, and very people-focused without being over-the-top hyper. When fully grown she should be a fantastic medium size to enjoy all your adventures but still save a spot for you on the couch!! Lately, she and her sibling, Sierra, have been getting lots of social time in the garage and big backyard, and it’s doing wonders for her confidence. She’s blossoming into a happy, social little butterfly who enjoys interaction and is figuring out that the world is actually a pretty fun place. Now let’s be clear — she is still a puppy. Which means: • Random zoomies activated without warning • Toy redistribution programs throughout your house • Occasional “what is this and can I chew it?” investigations • Daily moments that will absolutely make you laugh out loud Puppy shenanigans? Yes. Daily entertainment? Also yes. She would make a fantastic family pet thanks to her sweet, gentle nature. She’s loving without being wild, playful without being pushy, and cuddly without needing to run a marathon first. Her dream home includes: • A family ready for normal puppy antics • Love, structure, and patience • Maybe a backyard for zoomie practice • People who appreciate a good daily LOL moment She’s the kind of pup who will grow into a loyal, steady companion — but right now she’s mastering the fine art of being adorable while learning the ropes. If you’re ready for a gentle, loving, slightly goofy little sidekick who will fill your home with giggles and tail wags, she’s ready to report for duty. 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org — because life is better with a little puppy chaos and a whole lot of love. 🐾💗

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org Meet Joker 🐾 Don’t let the name fool you — Joker is all heart. This 10-week-old Border Collie × Australian Cattle Dog mix is a gentle, sensitive little guy with a soft, soulful personality. He’s much more “thoughtful collie” than “rowdy heeler,” preferring connection and cuddles over chaos. Joker can be a tiny bit shy when meeting new people, but once he feels safe, his sweet nature really shines. He warms up quickly and becomes your quiet little shadow, happily following you around and soaking up every bit of affection. He’s the kind of puppy who looks at you like you’re his whole world. He’s smart, observant, and eager to learn — classic border collie brain — and would thrive in a calm, loving home that helps him build confidence and gives him lots of reassurance and snuggles. He enjoys playtime and exploring, but his overall energy is gentle and easygoing. We expect him to be around 35 lbs full grown, making him the perfect size for both adventures and couch time. If you’re looking for a loyal, tender-hearted best friend who will bond deeply and stick by your side, Joker is ready to be your little sidekick. 🤍 👉 Apply today at haydudeequine.org and give this deserving lil fella the forever home he’s been waiting for 💛🐾
