Story
We got Kody from Joint Animal Services in Nov 2024. He was listed as being 1 year old so he’d be around 1 1/2 years now. He’s about 50 lbs. He sleeps on the couch, floor or on the bed. Loves playing ball and getting the fluff out of toys (doesn’t eat the fluff, just loves to pull it out). He is currently in training for crate and calming down when he gets overstimulated. He needs a home that has more space and where he can be more active and have a “job”.

Story
Ms Lulu is quite the character! She is happy and funny and Loves to run and run. When she stops, she stops! She took over the house and yard the first day protecting and keeping all threats away from the fence. She is a snuggler and will sit on the couch and sleep in the big person bed or an open crate. She does prowl and protect through the night. She is house trained and uses a doggy door. Lulu is okay with small dogs but maybe no dog under 20lbs until proper intros are made - otherwise male or female dogs are fine. No idea about cats. She is a cattle dog and seems as if she may have been trained to herd beyond what comes natural? She got out of the gate once and was fine with the goat and chickens. Cattle and horses would be safe. She is an active working dog who would love an active lifestyle if you can provide it. She loves the water too. She will herd children by nipping on their heels so maybe a bit older children who understand that's just what her breed does and won't cry. She does pretty well on a leash, rides in the car like a pro, loves puppies because she was a mom a time or two. Her tongue hangs out and her jaw is a bit off (maybe birth defect or an injury) but it does not affect her appetite! She is spayed, HW negative and up to date on shots. Lulu is a really sweet dog and wants a home of her own. please apply at www.krrtx.org/forms Please note Lulu is located in San Antonio, TX and is available for transport to your location through Your Tx Rescue Connection transport service. The fee includes adoption fee and transportation fee.

Story
Sadie has been a wonderful member of our family. We got her as a pup during COVID to help our kids (and us) get through that challenging time. She is five years old now and the children are going off to college. We both work and are not available to attend to Sadie during the day. Keeping her in the crate for 10 hours a day doesnt seem the right way for us to handle this. We would prefer to find another family who can enjoy Sadie's enthusiasm. She loves to play fetch in the back yard. She is super fast and has been crate trained. As a pup we took her to a trainer to assist with obedience. She loves cheerios to reward her for doing things correctly. As you can see by the picture she loves the sun and lounging. But dont be fooled she loves to run. She hasnt spent a lot of time around other dogs. When she does she plays well as youo can see her herding instincts come out. She is very protective of the backyard chasing off squirrels and birds. She has amazing hearing.

Story
Lily is a four-year-old miniature Australian Shepherd. She doesn't look like a normal Aussie, with her white and speckled fur. She loves the people she knows and is able to quickly get to know strangers. She is active and loves to run around in our big yard. She enjoys sitting on laps and likes picking a hiding place, like under a table or bed, for her quiet time. We are rehoming her because she has developed a problem with other dogs, of which we have a few. She is trying to dominate the others. Worst of all, she has started attacking her sister. At first it was a couple isolated instances, where after it happened they got along again for awhile. But it has devolved into a situation where Lily will now directly attack her sister whenever she has the opportunity. We try to keep them separate but it only takes a momentary lapse for her to get to her. So she needs to go to a home with no other dogs or cats.

Story
HI - I'M CECE! I am a 3-year-old Australian Shepherd-Beagle mix in need of a foster or forever home! I was rescued originally from a bad situation in California. From there, I was taken in by a Good Samaritan, but she also had to give me up due to unforeseen circumstances. I'm a great girl - I get along wonderfully with other dogs, and I am a lovebug with people. I would do well with an active person, people or family who wants a dog that they can do things with -- hiking, camping, walking, snuggling. I weigh about 45 lbs. Can you foster or adopt me? Please email for additional information and an application. :)
