Story
Meet Kona, a gorgeous, furry white and brown female pup who was rescued along with her littermates after being found in the desert with their mama in La Paz, BCS, Mexico. Kona is a little bit shy, but very gentle and sweet. She loves to snuggle in your arms and give you kisses when you pick her up, and her fur is oh so soft! Kona was rescued when she was just a few weeks old, and grew up in a foster home with good vet care, food, and lots of love and attention. Her mama is a small/medium sized Beagle/Australian Cattle Dog mix around 30 lbs, For the very 1 st time Woofs and Wags Dog Rescue will be having an Adoption Event at PetSmart located at 17585 Southcenter Pkwy, Tukwila, WA 98188 on Saturday, April 27, 2024 from 10 AM to 3 PM. Story
Ms Lulu is quite the character! She is happy and funny and Loves to run and run. When she stops, she stops! She took over the house and yard the first day protecting and keeping all threats away from the fence. She is a snuggler and will sit on the couch and sleep in the big person bed or an open crate. She does prowl and protect through the night. She is house trained and uses a doggy door. Lulu is not good with small dogs as her breed likes to keep the "rodents" at bay. I would say no dog under 20lbs - otherwise male or female dogs are fine. No idea about cats. She is a cattle dog and seems as if she may have been trained to herd beyond what comes natural? she is not good with lazy pet goats, pigs and chickens. Cattle and horses would be safe. She is an active working dog who would love an active lifestyle if you can provide it. She loves the water too. She will herd children by nipping on their heels so maybe a bit older children who understand that's just what her breed does and won't cry. She does pretty well on a leash, rides in the car like a pro, loves puppies because she was a mom a time or two. Her tongue hangs out and her jaw is a bit off (maybe birth defect or an injury) but it does not affect her appetite! She is spayed, HW negative and up to date on shots. please apply at www.krrtx.org/forms Please note Lulu is located in San Antonio, TX and is available for transport to your location through Your Tx Rescue Connection transport service. The fee includes adoption fee and transportation fee.

Story
Leia is my best friend and my dream dog. Unfortunately she has become too unpredictable as to how shll react when were not around. Around our family she is the sweetest dog the LOVES all the attention. She loves to cuddle, play she knows tricks. She is crate trained and will return to her kennel upon a command and will come to you with a snap of a finger. She does have a weak stomach so if something doest sit right, she will vomit it up immediately. The reason shes needing away from our house is while we were gone on a longer vacation, she and her older but smaller brother got into a fight over her food in her kennel. She ended the fight fast causing us a large vet bill. The other dog is okay but it was a wake up call that it’s clear we cannot care for her any longer. Writing this breaks by heart because as I said, she is my. Best friend and I love her very much. But I have to get her in a single dog family as soon as I can. Rehoming fee is just so I know you are serious.

Story
Hi, my name is Joey and I would love to meet you. I have been at the shelter since May 04, 2024. I like to think I’m a pretty independent pup, but having a person to share life with is really all I want. I may sometimes think my idea or direction is the better one, and I may sometimes be right, but what’s important is that we get to figure it out together!

Story
Bernie is a neutered male who came to us at about 3 months old with his sister Dash. He lives outside and has his own house in a covered, weather-protected area next to the house. He's a happy, energetic guy who's smart, but a bit of a doofus. He loves to play tug-of-war but destroys soft toys immediately. He's a foody who'll work for treats. He's had no problems with adults and teens but has not been around children. He'll walk on a leash but needs work as he still pulls, he needs to know that you're in charge. We're rehoming because, in all of our attempts, we've not been able to keep him in the yard. He has a high prey drive and goes after small animals like cats and birds. He escaped and killed the neighbor's chickens. If given the opportunity, Bernie would make a great house dog.

Story
Avery is a special guy. He is almost 2 yrs old, perfect medium sized dog and weighs 34 pounds. Avery needs another dog because he is deaf. He has separation anxiety if he is the only dog and is left alone. He is crate trained, potty trained, uses a doggy door, loves walks, playing in the water, and car rides. He knows hand signals for commands. He knows sit, stay, down, come, place and a few more. His life didn't start out well and is Very fearful of men and would do best in a home without a man in it. He loves babies & children and is extremely affectionate. He Loves to cuddle up with you on the couch and watch movies. If you looking for a sweet sweet boy that never barks at the delivery drivers, the door bell, other dogs and is never reactivate to fireworks or storms Avery might be your boy.
