Story
Ms Lulu is quite the character! She is happy and funny and Loves to run and run. When she stops, she stops! She took over the house and yard the first day protecting and keeping all threats away from the fence. She is a snuggler and will sit on the couch and sleep in the big person bed or an open crate. She does prowl and protect through the night. She is house trained and uses a doggy door. Lulu is not good with small dogs as her breed likes to keep the "rodents" at bay. I would say no dog under 20lbs - otherwise male or female dogs are fine. No idea about cats. She is a cattle dog and seems as if she may have been trained to herd beyond what comes natural? she is not good with lazy pet goats, pigs and chickens. Cattle and horses would be safe. She is an active working dog who would love an active lifestyle if you can provide it. She loves the water too. She will herd children by nipping on their heels so maybe a bit older children who understand that's just what her breed does and won't cry. She does pretty well on a leash, rides in the car like a pro, loves puppies because she was a mom a time or two. Her tongue hangs out and her jaw is a bit off (maybe birth defect or an injury) but it does not affect her appetite! She is spayed, HW negative and up to date on shots. please apply at www.krrtx.org/forms Please note Lulu is located in San Antonio, TX and is available for transport to your location through Your Tx Rescue Connection transport service. The fee includes adoption fee and transportation fee.

APPLICATION LINK: https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application-pet-central-satx/ We must have an application to move forward. SAM is the most outgoing of this litter. He was the chosen one to go with the Foster to her Yoga class and get handled by all the ladies. He loved every minute. He loves to be held and cuddled and especially to get tummy rubs. This is the sweetest litter of possible Australian Shepherd mix. DOB is 2/28/24. We expect them to be about 30#s when grown. They all love to play with each other, toys, and people. They are crate trained and they are getting accustomed to a collar and leash. These will make great family pets. This dog is CURRENTLY IN TEXAS and available for pre-adoption. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. You can ask us about how pre-adoption works and our "trial period." If you have any questions or would like an e-mail from us as to how all of this works, text me (Terry); identify the dog's name and give me your email address... 210-394-6060. Story
APPLICATION LINK: https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application-pet-central-satx/ We must have an application to move forward. In foster in Tumwater, WA SMITTY is very playful and loves to chase the other puppies. He has his shy moments with people but warms up quickly and loves to be in the middle of things. He is literally like an 'old soul' in a puppies body. For young children probably NOT the best fit as he is so mature and mellow for a puppy. Older children, sure. Isn't he just adorable!!! This is the sweetest litter of possible Australian Shepherd mix. DOB is 2/28/24. We expect them to be about 30#s when grown. They all love to play with each other, toys, and people. Story
APPLICATION LINK: https://shaynesrescue.com/adoption-application-pet-central-satx/ We must have an application to move forward. POGO looks a lot like his mom…mostly Australian Shepherd. Pogo is a male, DOB 3/1/24, and we expect he will grow to be 40-50# when grown. He is bright and alert and LOVES playing with other dogs especially in the water. Because of his little bit heavier coat he has been allowed to stay in the house during the hot Texas days. He loves to play even with our smallest puppy (a Chiweenie) and he leaves my cats alone. He is going to make a great family dog and companion. He currently has had other animals around him while living on the ranch…like a donkey, goats, sheep, and pigs. Although he’s not made deep friendships with any of these, he’s at least seen them and gone nose-to-nose with them. This dog is CURRENTLY IN TEXAS and available for pre-adoption. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention.
