He knows hand signals for commands. He knows sit, stay, down, come, place and a few more. His life didn't start out well and is Very fearful of men and would do best in a home without a man in it. He loves babies & children and is extremely affectionate. He Loves to cuddle up with you on the couch and watch movies. If you looking for a sweet sweet boy that never barks at the delivery drivers, the door bell, other dogs and is never reactivate to fireworks or storms Avery might be your boy.

Story
Meet Kona, a gorgeous, furry white and brown female pup who was rescued along with her littermates after being found in the desert with their mama in La Paz, BCS, Mexico. Kona is a little bit shy, but very gentle and sweet. She loves to snuggle in your arms and give you kisses when you pick her up, and her fur is oh so soft! Kona was rescued when she was just a few weeks old, and grew up in a foster home with good vet care, food, and lots of love and attention. Her mama is a small/medium sized terrier mix around 30 lbs, and we think there is some Shar Pei in this litter from the dad's side, but Kona looks like an Aussie shepherd mixed with a little husky. She is sterilized, vaccinated and ready to find her forever family! Story
Meet Roscoe! This handsome boy is friendly, outgoiing, sweet and playful. Roscoe was rescued along with his littermates after being found in the desert with their mama in La Paz, BCS, Mexico. He is confident and friendly, always one of the first of her littermates to readily approach humans for attention. Roscoe loves to play with his siblings and with humans. He was rescued when he was just a few weeks old, and grew up in a foster home with good vet care, food, and lots of love and attention. Roscoe's mama is a small/medium sized beagle/terrier mix around 30 lbs, and we think there is some Shar Pei in this litter from the dad's side. Story
Ms Lulu is quite the character! She is happy and funny and Loves to run and run. When she stops, she stops! She took over the house and yard the first day protecting and keeping all threats away from the fence. She is a snuggler and will sit on the couch and sleep in the big person bed or an open crate. She does prowl and protect through the night. She is house trained and uses a doggy door. Lulu is not good with small dogs as her breed likes to keep the "rodents" at bay. I would say no dog under 20lbs - otherwise male or female dogs are fine. No idea about cats. She is a cattle dog and seems as if she may have been trained to herd beyond what comes natural? she is not good with lazy pet goats, pigs and chickens. Cattle and horses would be safe. She is an active working dog who would love an active lifestyle if you can provide it. She loves the water too. She will herd children by nipping on their heels so maybe a bit older children who understand that's just what her breed does and won't cry. She does pretty well on a leash, rides in the car like a pro, loves puppies because she was a mom a time or two. Her tongue hangs out and her jaw is a bit off (maybe birth defect or an injury) but it does not affect her appetite! She is spayed, HW negative and up to date on shots. please apply at www.krrtx.org/forms Please note Lulu is located in San Antonio, TX and is available for transport to your location through Your Tx Rescue Connection transport service. The fee includes adoption fee and transportation fee.

Story
MUST LOVE CUDDLES! Big, beautiful Buck is a very affectionate guy that will cuddle with any person he meets. When standing outside , talking with the neighbors he’ll wait patiently while leaning against you for a head rub. In the evening he won’t try to lay in your lap, but he does want to lay next to you with his head in your lap. He needs a touchy / feely kind of person! Buck is approx about 18mo old and weighs a whopping 80lbs. He does still need some leash and recall training, but he’s very food motivated and really wants to please so he’ll learn all his manners in no time. He is a very silly, playful, very sweet puppy that would make an excellent running partner. And then he’s ready to come home and relax for the remainder of the day. One more walk for the evening or running and playing fetch in the yard for a bit, then Buck is happy to curl up in his blankets for the night. He has been between a foster home and boarding for 3 months now, so he’s eagerly waiting for his own, forever home. Buck loves to play with other dogs but does not like to share food or treats so he must be the only dog in the home. Even though he won’t live with other dogs, he should at least have plenty of play dates. Buck loves to meet new people so a socially active home would be best. He’s also wonderful with kids, although he’s very big and doesn’t really know his size so he might knock over the little ones. Kids must be over 10yrs old. He must have a 6ft or higher securely fenced yard. Although Buck is house and crate trained, he’d rather use a doggy door or be let out on a regular basis by a work from home person. He must have a large breed experienced person to help continue his training. He loves car rides so he would even be a great companion for someone that drives for a living. He is a little too intense with the kitties so no cats please. We’re not quite sure of his breed mix. But we do know he is a very sweet, social, athletic guy that deserves a loving forever home of his own.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Please go to our website for all specific information about this dog.  Our info doesn't transfer over to the adoption sites.  Brooke is a gorgeous, young, merle Aussie or mix of Aussie who was left at someone's house.   The vet verified she's spayed and we got the vaccines and microchip done now.   She is very happy, social and typically active for a herding breed.   The people she was left at have a special needs granddaughter they said she was even very gentle with.  If you have crazy, playful kids, she'd likely join right in.  She's good with dogs and leaves the resident cat alone.  If they run, she may chase of course.   She's maybe 1 year old and needs continued training.  She's very food motivated so it was easy to crate train her.  She needs regular trips outside to do her business or she may pee in her crate or the house.   SHE REQUIRES A HOME WITH A SECURELY FENCED YARD Can you offer her some security and a fresh start?  Please submit or adoption application! Prior to adoption, our dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, micro-chipped and parasite treated/prevented.   Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 22, 2024, 2:07 am

Story
Bernie is a neutered male who came to us at about 3 months old with his sister Dash. He lives outside and has his own house in a covered, weather-protected area next to the house. He's a happy, energetic guy who's smart, but a bit of a doofus. He loves to play tug-of-war but destroys soft toys immediately. He's a foody who'll work for treats. He's had no problems with adults and teens but has not been around children. He'll walk on a leash but needs work as he still pulls, he needs to know that you're in charge. We're rehoming because, in all of our attempts, we've not been able to keep him in the yard. He has a high prey drive and goes after small animals like cats and birds. He escaped and killed the neighbor's chickens. If given the opportunity, Bernie would make a great house dog.
