Story
Ms Lulu is quite the character! She is happy and funny and Loves to run and run. When she stops, she stops! She took over the house and yard the first day protecting and keeping all threats away from the fence. She is a snuggler and will sit on the couch and sleep in the big person bed or an open crate. She does prowl and protect through the night. She is house trained and uses a doggy door. Lulu is not good with small dogs as her breed likes to keep the "rodents" at bay. I would say no dog under 20lbs - otherwise male or female dogs are fine. No idea about cats. She is a cattle dog and seems as if she may have been trained to herd beyond what comes natural? she is not good with lazy pet goats, pigs and chickens. Cattle and horses would be safe. She is an active working dog who would love an active lifestyle if you can provide it. She loves the water too. She will herd children by nipping on their heels so maybe a bit older children who understand that's just what her breed does and won't cry. She does pretty well on a leash, rides in the car like a pro, loves puppies because she was a mom a time or two. Her tongue hangs out and her jaw is a bit off (maybe birth defect or an injury) but it does not affect her appetite! She is spayed, HW negative and up to date on shots. please apply at www.krrtx.org/forms Please note Lulu is located in San Antonio, TX and is available for transport to your location through Your Tx Rescue Connection transport service. The fee includes adoption fee and transportation fee.

In foster near Seattle, WA The fosters children (not super young) ABSOLUTELY ADORE HIM!!! CHANCE is perhaps an Australian shepherd mix…lol maybe with a touch of beagle! ha ha about 2 yrs old, 35#s. He has been raised in an apartment but he is definitely a dog with energy. He might do BEST with a home with a yard, exercise, children, and lots of play. Or an active single our couple that likes hiking, boating, swimming. Maybe if you work away from home, a dog walker some days and doggie day care twice week? He is learning the basics…leash training, sit, stay. He is not good with cats at this point. Chance hasn’t experienced many of the common daily things but he has a good personality and likes people… especially if they have treats. Adoptions include neuter/spay, vaccinations (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), microchip, health certificate, transport with our professional dog transporter, and 6 mos of heart worm prevention. If you have any questions you can email us and if you would like a call give us good times to return the call. Story
Lila is a 13 year old, very spirited Aussie/Border Collie mix in perfect health. She typically does well when there's a lot of stimulation, people to be around, and lot's of exercise. Although she can display reactiveness when on leash, she is easy to calm. She can play well with dogs at the dog park and in the home. Would not recommend for a house with small children or cats as she is a herding breed. She is very sweet, will listen well, and is always ready for an adventure!
