Gordo is a sweet English Bulldog with the kindest heart. He came into our lives during a difficult time, when a friend was planning to put him to sleep. My parents couldn’t let that happen, so we opened our home to him and gave him the best life we could. Gordo is calm, loving, and gentle. He loves pets, enjoys his meals, and is happiest when he’s cozy and sleeping nearby. He thrives on companionship and enjoys having people around him. Due to an upcoming move and housing restrictions, we can no longer keep him. This decision is heartbreaking, but our priority is finding Gordo a safe, loving forever home where he can continue to be cherished. He has so much love left to give and would make a wonderful companion.

Don't worry, he's much happier than he looks. Roddy has a serious case of resting grump face, but on the inside, he's all glitter and cotton candy. He likes to be the center of attention with both people and other dogs, but his spatial awareness is a bit.... um.... bulldoggy, so watch your knees. Roddy's two favorite things are a snack and a soak. After a hard evening of sous cheffing your dinner spread, he likes to complete the full nighttime routine, and has been known to sneak into his foster mom's running shower for a bit of a wind down. When it comes to activities, he's down for a (not so brisk) neighborhood walk, a car ride down the PCH, or a "let's stay in and you can rub my belly" kind of night. Meet Luna, a sweet and adorable Bulldog believed to be around 2–3 years old. She was found wandering the streets as a stray, and although she had a microchip and her owner was located, no one ever came to reclaim her. Luna arrived in very poor condition and required extensive medical care, but she has made an incredible recovery. She is now spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and completely healthy. She also underwent entropion eyelid surgery and a procedure to help her breathe better. Luna is crate trained, house trained, and friendly with kids and other dogs. Because of the significant medical costs invested in her care, we will be asking an adoption fee to help recoup some of these expenses. Luna is now ready for a loving forever home where she can finally feel safe, cherished, and adored.

We were asked to help find this happy young dog a new home. His family loves him very much, but they just don't have time for him. We're glad they've reached out to rescue to help find him a new home rather than taking him to a shelter like many people do. His family says, "Chapo is a 1 year old Shar Pei mix, with the most adorable personality! He is very loving, smart and loyal to his family. Chapo is energetic, affectionate and loves to be around his people. He thinks he is a lap dog and makes his way onto your lap regardless of space. Chapo loves to bring you his toys to play fetch. He also knows basic commands like sit, stay and leave it. He does well with other dogs, he currently has a dog sister, and they play all day. He also goes to doggie day care, and is great with all the other dogs, large and small. Chapo sleeps in his dog bed in our bedroom. We are heartbroken to part with him but we don’t feel that he is getting the attention that he deserves. Chapo would thrive in a home that has a backyard for him to run around and a family that would love to have a friendly dog to play with and take on walks. Chapo walks nicely on a leash, is friendly to other dogs and new people, and is great around kids. He's neutered, healthy and an all around good boy." Romy is a sweet three year old Frenchie who loves everyone! Romy is a loving “velcro” pup, she wants to be close to her people all the time! She loves other dogs, kids, strangers, and every person she meets. Romy wants nothing more than to be loved, and petted, and snuggled all the time! She is a healthy girl, with the normal Frenchie considerations —her breathing can be heavy when she is stressed, in extreme heat, or after long walks. Romy has been fully vaccinated, spayed and given a clean bill of health by our vet. She is quiet (other than the classic adorable Frenchie snore!), Romy is house trained, non-destructive, and generally very well behaved. She has the most loving personality and wants to sit by your side while you work on the computer or watch TV. She loves to play with other calm dogs, and would be great in a home with another dog. Romy is a happy girl that would be a wonderful addition to any family who has the time to give her the love and attention she needs and deserves.
