This is one cutie patootie. Thurston was another abandoned dog in a sea of abandoned dogs. A Good Samaritan found him and searched for quite awhile for his owner. No-one ever came forward. He is now with us and doing extremely well. He is crate trained and housebroken. He is house respectful. Walks well on a leash. Of course he could play fetch all day with his ball. He is just great dog for companionship and a great dog with a big personality that will make you laugh everyday. All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped. Our dogs are in foster homes which enables us to learn more about them in a home environment. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them. An application, adoption fee and contract are required. He likes to be the center of attention with both people and other dogs, but his spatial awareness is a bit.... um.... bulldoggy, so watch your knees. Roddy's two favorite things are a snack and a soak. After a hard evening of sous cheffing your dinner spread, he likes to complete the full nighttime routine, and has been known to sneak into his foster mom's running shower for a bit of a wind down. When it comes to activities, he's down for a (not so brisk) neighborhood walk, a car ride down the PCH, or a "let's stay in and you can rub my belly" kind of night. He's full of life, he LOVES people, but needs to be an only dog in a household and not socialized without a careful meeting. He's fine with most little dogs, but does not like big ones. But he currently lives w/me and my great dane and loves him. He will be your shadow He will try to say Hi to any human he sees on a walk. He is not your typical chunky bulldog and is full of muscle and loves to play, so I would not recommend any kids in the house under 10. He's just a lovebug and wants his person. Feel free to ask any questions!!! He is crate trained and sleeps in there at night with the door open, potty trained and is not destructive in anyway. He is not a barker.
