Don't worry, he's much happier than he looks. Roddy has a serious case of resting grump face, but on the inside, he's all glitter and cotton candy. He likes to be the center of attention with both people and other dogs, but his spatial awareness is a bit.... um.... bulldoggy, so watch your knees. Roddy's two favorite things are a snack and a soak. After a hard evening of sous cheffing your dinner spread, he likes to complete the full nighttime routine, and has been known to sneak into his foster mom's running shower for a bit of a wind down. When it comes to activities, he's down for a (not so brisk) neighborhood walk, a car ride down the PCH, or a "let's stay in and you can rub my belly" kind of night. Get yourself lost in Roddy's fabulous face folds. You won't ever want to be found!

Meet Luna, a sweet and adorable Bulldog believed to be around 2–3 years old. She was found wandering the streets as a stray, and although she had a microchip and her owner was located, no one ever came to reclaim her. Luna arrived in very poor condition and required extensive medical care, but she has made an incredible recovery. She is now spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, and completely healthy. She also underwent entropion eyelid surgery and a procedure to help her breathe better. Luna is crate trained, house trained, and friendly with kids and other dogs. Because of the significant medical costs invested in her care, we will be asking an adoption fee to help recoup some of these expenses. Luna is now ready for a loving forever home where she can finally feel safe, cherished, and adored.

Bruce is a very special boy. I love him. I have had him long enough to know how he thinks and what sets him off. I believe in being 100% transparent as I do not want to fail any of our beloved dogs. I expect the same from adopters. Bruce likes a quiet indoor environment with limited time outdoors. He likes short walks but even then he will just lay down and not budge. He does not like loud noises like drills or other mechanical things he will get upset. He is very smart and understands when he is being spoken to but he is stubborn. I do not recommend any children. (he will not do well with kids) I do not recommend other pets. (We have had him around other dogs and he gets along until something upsets him.) Bruce needs a very calm home.

A joyful five-year-old English Bulldog/Labrador Retriever mix currently living in Carlsbad, CA, whose essence is a blend of sun-drenched cuddles and heartwarming loyalty wrapped in a sleek black coat with charming white accents. Osane is the very definition of a snuggle connoisseur. Whether you’re sitting on the couch, lounging in bed, or even just crouching to tie your shoe, she’ll find her way into your lap like a determined furry beanbag! Weighing in at 60 pounds, she might not quite fit the traditional lap-dog mold—but don’t tell her that! She’s a warm, wiggly shadow who brings cheer wherever she goes. My parents couldn’t let that happen, so we opened our home to him and gave him the best life we could. Gordo is calm, loving, and gentle. He loves pets, enjoys his meals, and is happiest when he’s cozy and sleeping nearby. He thrives on companionship and enjoys having people around him. Due to an upcoming move and housing restrictions, we can no longer keep him. This decision is heartbreaking, but our priority is finding Gordo a safe, loving forever home where he can continue to be cherished. We have puppies! Meet Paddington, currently at 8 weeks old DOB Nov 2025 and growing by the minute! Paddington is 1 of 3 puppies that are survivors from the shelter. Their overbred mama was dumped while pregnant at the shelter and unfortunately did not make it through their birth. Our original plan was to save and pull Mama into our rescue, so in her honor we took her 3 puppies. DNA test results coming soon but we have our bets on bulldog/pitbull/american bully mix ! Stay tuned! Applications are now open for Paddington! Experienced adopters preferred but not limited to, as puppies are a lifetime commitment. Adoption contract will ensure Paddington is neutered when he is of age at our trusted vets, this medical expense is included in the adoption donation.

Celeste, a beautiful, kind-hearted 5 year old brindle French bulldog, is looking for a loving home. We rescued her in 2022 and are still displaced from the January fires. Our current living situation doesn’t allow us to give Celeste her best life. Celeste will do best with a confident, caring person interested in helping her continue socialization with creatures and people. She’s shy with new people but then warm and affectionate. Celeste is house and leash trained, knows a standard set of commands, loves to play fetch with mini Kong tennis balls, and is a beloved member of our family. She loves human company and would be a perfect work from home or retirement companion. We will facilitate and cover the cost of training sessions with her existing trainer. To ensure only genuine enquiries, a $200 adoption fee (charitable donation to Blue Man Dog Rescue) is required.
