Hi, I'm Tiger! I'm a sweetheart of a dog looking for someone who can give me a loving home. My ideal home includes a fenced in yard for me to run in! I would prefer a home without children, and I would like to meet any potential doggie siblings before I go home so I can see if they pass my vibe check. "Tiger enjoys walks in the woods, meeting dogs, afterwards he'll sit in the grass , roll over and wiggle back and forth. When I've stopped to talk with someone while we are on a walk, he will lay down and just wait till I'm ready to move on. I don't know if this is good or bad, but he will often follow me around the house. He does little half jumps when you come home, happy to see you, tail wagging. Not big on toys that I've seen so far. Can sit and shake paw for a treat. He has not been destructive when left alone in the house while I'm at work, it seems like he just sleeps. He pulls a bit on walks but is quite calm while in the house and likes to sit quietly and watch the goings of the neighborhood out the window or front door. Very chill, low energy doggie. Loves to be scratched all over. A good gentleman when meeting people."

Every question must be answered, and it must be signed.-Applicants must be 21+ years old and live within a 75-mile radius of our shelter at 22415 Groesbeck Hwy, Warren 48089.-You must identify at least 1 dog/cat that you are interested in.-Attach a copy of proof of home ownership (i.e. tax bill, deed, or mortgage payment – you can black out the account #, etc.) or animal clause/agreement of your rental agreement. This must be in a .jpeg format. If you are unable to send in this format, please be prepared to provide this documentation in another way prior to adoption.Once your application is received, it will be assigned to one of our volunteer Adoption Counselors who will follow-up with the applicant who is the best fit within a few days, or to discuss other dogs/cats. It could take up to a couple of weeks for you to receive a final disposition on your application so there is no need to check on the status.-Introductions will be scheduled by appointment only, 30 minutes per appointment. The entire household, including current dogs, must be present for the appointment. (Note: Please do not bring your dogs if you are meeting cats!). **In a foster home, not at the kennel** Hi, I'm Star. I am currently in a foster home learning what it feels like to be a loved and cared for. My life started out "ruff". I was overused for breeding and not provided with the best care. My foster mom took me home to teach me manners and limits and provide me with the love and guidance I have been craving. She says I am the sweetest dog on the planet! I enjoy cuddling on the couch with my foster mom and taking in all the attention. My only flaw is that I throw/wiggle my big body all over the place without much regard to what I may knock over :) I love other dogs and would enjoy having a dog sibling. An experienced, adult only home(18+) that will provide leadership for me is what I need to be successful. I need someone I can rely on to keep me safe and who I can look to continue where my foster mom left off. I am looking for a home with an enclosed yard of my own to get out those "zoomies".
