He came from a shelter they believed had been hit by a car he had a broken pelvis and injured leg, but we are fairly sure he was beaten. He was terrified of anything like a broom and pees and poops himself. He's getting better every day. He needs a quiet home, cats are okay, but no male dogs. He can be a sweet boy but wants to trust but we can see it in his eyes as he sizes up every situation. He loves playing with the female dogs in his foster home and can spend hours outside just running and playing. He weighs about 9 pounds, is microchipped and has been fully vaccinated. Neuter to be announced still recovering from a broken pelvis and injured leg. Please consider adopting a senior dog. They are passed over routinely in shelters and Chihuahua senior dogs who are black are then the number 2 breed most euthanized in shelters. Adopt don't shop! ##1371753##

However, she was returned when her previous family found out they were expecting a baby, and Penny wasn’t comfortable around the little one. Penny is a sweet and loving dog who thrives in the right environment. She’s fully house trained, never has accidents inside, and is a joy to have around. Penny enjoys long walks and playing with her toys, but she also loves relaxing and taking naps next to her favorite people. While Penny is not good with other dogs, cats, or kids, she is an ideal companion in a home where she can be the sole focus of attention. She’s working on her reactivity to other dogs on walks, so a patient family willing to help her through her anxiety would be the perfect fit. Sarang is an 11-year-old Shiba Inu who has been part of our family since she was a tiny puppy. She’s a black and tan sweetheart with a calm spirit and gentle heart. She’s affectionate, loyal, and loves simply being close to her people. She doesn’t need much, only love, companionship, and a peaceful environment where she feels safe. Sarang is happiest when she has company during the day. She can feel anxious when left alone for long hours, so she would do best with someone who works from home, is retired, or enjoys having a loyal companion by their side. She loves calm walks, quiet moments, and a small yard or cozy outdoor space would make her very happy. I work long shifts and my father’s recent stroke has placed new responsibilities on our family. As heartbreaking as it is, I want what is best for her... a loving home where she can feel safe, cared for, and surrounded by love every day.
